1. Mate no Offense. But where needs a Player to pay attention ? For the 3.5% Damage Burst which cant even turn a Single Plane Yellow ? No. Sorry. Right now Players can basicly ignore the AA System because its entirely and utterly useless. The only AA which is making any Difference is the Heavy AA. The Black Puffs. And in case you did not know that. These are 100% independent from AA Sector and Player Attention. They happen 100% automatic. The Heavy AA Explosions are not affected by AA Sector. They are completely the same regardless of any Player Actions or Directions. So no. A Player currently not Aware will fare exactly the same as one that is aware. As I said Mate. As a CV. I cant even tell you if someone is using the AA Sector or not IF I AM LOOKING OUT FOR IT. Thats how weak this is. That is how little difference it makes compared to Players just Ignoring AA alltogether. 2. Except right now IT IS THE ONLY DAMAGE SOURCE. Because Continues AA has been Nerfed into Oblivion. And the Instant Damage Burst is so weak that you cant even tell if someone used it or not. And Mate. As you just Said. Let me just turn this around. Right now. A Skiled CV Player is basicly Invincible against everything. Because NOBODY CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT HIM. AA is So Weak. That even the most Potato CV is Guaranteed to get a Strike in. And that also means. Any Skilled CV Player is so Strong that he can completely Ignore AA alltogether. 2. Yeah not Joke I want to do more lol. No offense Mate. As I said. Right now YOU NEED 3. In words THREE. Players for this Action to DESTROY 1 YES ONE out of the 9 Planes in a Squadron. You could Remove the 3.5% and nobody would Notice. Thats how useless they are. 3. Well. I did actually Provide evidence for this above. Or do you think I got 15 T6 Games in a Row ? And why should I use a T6 Cruiser to Hunt T8 BBs ???? a T6 Cruiser is not a CV. He isnt so Overpowered he can Hunt T8s lol 4. My Ingame Experience is Backed up by my Matches. And in case you missed it. Look around you. If you claim a Different Experience. Then your the Odd one. Maybe post a Replay and we can tell you why you Fail. As for ME doing it Wrong. Erm Yeah. You do realize I argue from CV Viewpoint right. So yeah. Me just doing things wrong apparently looks like this. Sorry. But I think the one doing something wrong is really You. No Offense intended. How about you Provide some Evidence ? Show me how you in a T6 Cruiser can Defend yourself against a T8 CV :) That will be Hilarious. 5. Yugumo, Kagero, Z46 actually most DDs need quite a bit to Take down Fighters. Exceptions are AA DDs. Like Kidd, Harugumo etc. But even they will be Spotted long enough. Also. I guess you did not Read my First Post then. In case you didnt realize it. I have Played EVERYTHING over the Past Week. Reason I point out my CV Stats is because I say CVs are Overpowered. It makes no Sense to Post Stats of a Ship thats Played Badly and then Claim the Enemy Ship is OP. If you want to Claim something is OP you need to Show its OP. So you Post Stats of the thing thats OP. -

I know. But that is the Problem. Right now the only Remaining useful AA System in the Game. Is a One Sided Skill Check for the CV. It had no Skill Check between Player A and Player B. Its a Skill Check of Player A vs Fixed Test. And as WG does not want Players to be Defeated by this Skill Check vs AI. They have made this Skill Check so Incredible Easy that you could basicly Remove it from the Game and the only People that would Notice. Would be the bottom 20% of the Playerbase which completely Refuse to Learn even the tiniest thing. -

1. I actually Explained that here. 2. This is actually Wrong. You have 3.5% Of the Remaining Squadrons HP as Burst. So if your a 3 Person Squad. And all use the Burst. They do about 10% of Damage to the Squadron. So basicly. With 3 Players using a Manual Skill at your Squadron at Once. They MIGHT MAYBE Kill 1 Of your Aircraft. In many cases they will actually just Turn ONE Aircraft Red. Let that sink. 3 Players doing the exactly right Reaction of Counterplay against you. And they can barely Destroy 1 Aircraft of your Squadron if they are Lucky. 3. I played and Tested AA all around the Tiers as you see. And no Sorry. AA is way too weak all across the Board. In T4 its non Existent. T4 CVs can basicly do whatever they want without any Resistance. In T6 the CV can still Comfortably Hunt T8 Ships as he Pleases. In T8 the only Threat to a CV is Tier 10 Specialized AA Cruisers. And even they can be Bombed only having higher Losses. In T10 CVs are back to basicly doing whatever they want without any Resistance. 4. If your talking about the AA Puffs. They are Weak as well. And more Importandly they are useless. Because you can neither Influence them with the Sector nor can you make them Hit better. They are a 100% background System which is easy to Avoid for any Halfwat Decent CV Player. And in the rare case they Hit. As Continues DPS are Nerfed into Oblivion their Damage cant be Exploited. So no. This is not the Real Damage. The Black AA Puffs are basicly RNGesus now and then Granting you a Detonation if your Lucky. Because the only time they do anything to a Squadron is when you Strike 3-6 Hits with them at once. 5. This is also False. In case you missed it. All of my Post was Assuming that the other Person is using the Sector System Perfectly. This never happens of course. So the Real Situation in the Game is even worse. Because we basicly 10-30% nerfed AA without even the Insane 3.5% Damage Burst. But thats only making it worse. Not Better. 6. I will not Comment on the your Critics of my Suggestions. These are just Mini Suggestions to give Ideas. But I will Comment on the last Bit. If your Spotted by Fighters just Turn on AA for a Second. This Myth has kept itself around and its Complete Bullcrab. Fighters have few HP that is True. But especially for DDs it will still often take 20-30 Seconds of AA Fire to Kill them. And this actually makes Fighters worse than a Radar Cruiser. Because a Radar Cruiser at least can only Radar you for 40 Seconds 20 Seconds of which he is the only one seeing you. Fighters meanwhile Light you up for the Entire Enemy Team for 20-30 Seconds atop of you having been Spotted by the Bombers before. Basicly Guaranteeing you to be a Viable Targets for the Entire Enemy Team. Activating AA actually often makes it worse unless your Directly below them. Because most DD AA is so weak that its actually faster to Shut down AA and Drive 5km away. Pls stop Spreading this Bullcrab myth of Fighters being Instant gone by AA. This might work when your a Cruiser or BB with Decent AA. It wont work for DDs. -

This is not Surprising. Most People tend to Forget this. But the more Overpowered a Class is. The harder it becomes for that Class to Win when your noot a Good Player. Because the more Overpowered your Class is. The more it is you who is influencing the Outcome of the Match. Right now CVs of course take this to an Absurd level. If your CV is a Noob. And the Enemy CV is Good. Then well. Sure the Enemy Ships can still not do much about your CV. And your CV will happily make alot of damage and maybe even kill someone. But as he doesnt know what targets are importand and as he wont be able to properly support his team. While the Enemy CV is easily Diminishing your Team in Importand Places. You will Lose. This does not happen when your Class is Balanced. Because when your Class is not Overpowered. When your a Noob. You will only have a Bad Game yourself. Your not the Game Deciding Factor. So even if you dont do well while your Counterpart does. Your Team has a Fair Chance of making this Game work. Because they can outbalance the other guy doing better if they do better than their Counterpart. So when your Class is weaker. You have a much Easier Time to Win when your not a very Good Player. When your Class is Overpowered. You have a very hard Time Winning when your not a very Good Player. -
Mate no Offense. But see this is the Problem. "My Squads only get Wiped when I am ignorantly attacking a Pack" This is exactly the Problem. Because if you turn this around. "The only way for me to not be wiped by the Enemy CV is to have 3-4 Players with me at all times which are all using the AA Sector Correctly" And Sorry but this is absolutely not Likable. 4 out of 5 of my DD Games just now. Got Completely Ruined by Enemy CV. Because I cant do ANYTHING about the Enemy CV at all. And even if I am close to 1 Allied Cruiser he cant really Shoot down enough Aircraft to really make a Difference. And I know I cant do anything because I play CV as well. I know that if I want that Enemy DD to be Completely useless. I can Guarantee that and keep Blapping it. Even if I miss. That DD wont be doing anything that Match. We are Back to having 0 Counterplay against CVs. Because the only Counterplay we have is a Freaking useless 3.5% Instant Damage Burst which is completely entirely useless and can be Safely Ignored by CVs. Heck. When I play CV. I dont even notice if People are using AA Sector or not. Because the Damage is so neglectable that it simply doesnt even Matter.

Its CV Player Statistics. Basicly the Number of Players who have Played CV for more than 10 or so Matches In High tier that was 1200 Players In Low tier nearly 2000 Players. So in Total there was about 3200 Players which last Week have Played more than 10 CV Matches :)

I would Disagree on this. Because the premise of them being Balanced later on was obvious and anyone who bought one should have been aware of this. But more Importandly. They did not ask for a Refund. But for CVs to remain Overpowered. (Tough several asked for refund AFTER the Nerf)

A Term which came around during 0.8.3 for People which argued for CVs to remain as they are without any Nerfs. Aside from the Obvious People which basicly Claimed that CVs are not Overpowered and are Perfectly Balanced thus not needing to be Nerfed or only needing minor adjustments. There was also alot of People making Ridiculous excuses for why CVs should stay as OP as they are. For example because Subs will be the Counter to them and so if they are Nerfed they will be too weak when Subs come around. Or that CVs were Sold as Premium Ships and thus have been sold under the promise of being Overpowered and now it would be unfair to make them balanced again cause People only bought em for being Overpowered. Or that CVs need to be Overpowered because otherwise nobody wants to Play them. Or that CVs should be Overpowered because they were Overpowered in Reality. Hence the Term CV Apologist.

To be precise it was a certain Air Supplement which repeated this over and over. Thats normal. I lost 2 of my Furios Games Today. Both with 2 Kills and over 100k Damage... Both as the Top of my Team.... But still both Games there was always the obligatori guy who told me how crab I was and how its all my fault we lost and that I suck etc etc. I wont complain too much about it tough. Even as T6 CV in T8 Game my Influence is absurdly Big. Given how much I can carry a Team with the current AA Nerf its almost refreshing when a Team is so incredible bad that it cant be carried or if an Enemy Team is so good that it still beats me.

Nope. Several CV Apologists kept bringing up that CVs would be the Prime Target of Submarines and thus be Balanced once Subs come into the Game. Basicly trying to make the Point that CVs needed to be Strong against DDs. Balancing by another Rock Paper Scissors. CV->DD->Sub->CV. Thanks to that Submarines and especially their ability to Avoid and Attack CVs have become a bit of an extra Topic in here.

Unfortunately Subs wont be Fixing CVs. With just 2-3 Minutes of Dive Time. They cant just Bypass Enemy Fleet and Kill Enemy CVs :(

Meanwhile in the Game after AA Nerf. Yep. Leveling UK CV Line to Tier 10 wont be a Problem now I guess. Second T10 CV I will get for Free Basicly. Thanks to Wargaming turning CVs into Godmode so that even a Potato like me can get Violet Sessions with no Effort whatsoever...

I Generally dont Feel Happy either way. If it happens to me I feel annoyed. Because I didnt get a Chance to do something this Match. If it happens to someone else. I somehow dont feel like I deserved the Kill. -

Well that Explains why its 90% of times in DDs and Cruisers and almost never in BBs As I said. Dont calculate based on your own. Your an Older Players with alot of Games. New Players cant actually afford such Signals. (Actually if I had to Buy them constantly I would not be able to afford them either.) -

Never Knew that and never had it either. Usually when I detonate I am 100% HP or have maybe taken 1 or 2 Hits. But guys. I asked if there was a meaning to it. Not if you guys are bothered by it. Also stop Recommending that Signal Pls. Many especially New Player do not have the kind of Credits to just Afford using these Flags every Match. So unless they Spend quite a bit of Gold on it. They cannot actually Protect themselves against this Mechanic. Going to Repeat the Question. Does this Mechanic have any meaningful reasoning behind it. Or is it just a way to Annoy Players into Spending Gold to Disable it. I got several Hundred of these Signals sitting in Store. So I could actually use it for every Match. But I want to know if there is some meaning behind this Mechanic beside being Frustrating to Players by having them Explode Randomly. -
We had a Good Yubari Match Yesterday. With 3 Yubaris 3 Yubaris is actually Capable of Killing most T4 Squadrons after only 1 Drop. At least if all are using Def AA. One Good thing on Yubari is tough. Its basicly a DD. So it can Evade really Good :)

1. Aktuell laut Ingame Screen hat die Harugumo 24mm Mit IFHE kommt sie also nur auf 31mm Aber das mal an der Seite denn was so Ingame steht stimmt ja auch nicht immer. Problem ist. Die Kremlin hat 60mm im Deck. 21mm-24mm-27mm-32mm macht für die also Keinerlei Unterschied. 2. Das Reload Modul haben beide mit 12% mehr Feuerrate. Ist also Irrelevant. 3. Die Smolensk hat genauso wenig Radar wir die Harugumo. Is also für dieses Beispiel Irrelevant. 4. Niemand sagt das die Smolensk der bessere DD wäre. Meine aussage war. Die Smolensk ist der Top Spammer im Spiel. Und das ist und bleibt eine Tatsache. 5. Worcester hat 1900 DPS also ebenfalls Geringer als die Smolensk. Und ja. Die Worcester hat Radar. Aber das bringt ihr nicht viel. Denn sie hat keinen Smoke lol. Gib doch einfach den Punkt ab. Die Smolensk ist nunmal der Top Spammer im Spiel Und das mit Abstand. Kein anderer kommt auf diesen DPS Wert. Mehr hab Ich nicht Behaupted. Das sie bestimmt kein DD ist. Und das sie wie jedes andere Schiff auch auf ihr Team angewiesen ist wenn sie etwas reißen will. Bestreited niemand.

Ja Zähle Ich. Hab Ich oben übrigens auch erwähnt als Ich die Formel drunter geschrieben habe. Smolensk. 16 Rohre. 13.3 Schuss pro Minute pro Rohr 1800 Schaden pro Granate Kommt auf einen gesamtschaden von 383.040 Durch 60 Sekunden um den DPM in DPS umzuwandeln. Kommt auf 6384 Schaden pro Sekunde. Durch 3 weil du ja 1/3 des Schadens mit HE Pen bekommst. Bist du bei 2130 Damage Pro Sekunde mit HE. Harugumo 10 Rohre 20 Schuss pro Minute pro Rohr 1200 Schaden pro Granate Komm auf einen gesamtschaden von 240.000 Wieder durch 60 Sekunden um den DPM in DPS umzuwandeln. Kommt auf 4000 Schaden pro Sekunde. Und dann auch hier durch 3 weil HE bei Pen ja 1/3 des Schadens macht. Bist du bei 1330 Damage Pro Sekunde mit HE. Das Ergebnis is übrigens nicht Verwunderlich. 16 Rohre mit 13.3 Granaten pro Minute. Bedeuted das die Smolensk 212 Granaten pro Minute Rauspumpt. 10 Rohre mit 20 Granaten pro Minute. Bedeuten das die Harugumo aktuell nur 200 Granaten in der Minute Raushaut. Die Smolensk macht aber 1800 Schaden Pro Granate. Die Harugumo nur 1200 Schaden Pro Murmel.

Wie Regelmäßig denn und auf welche Reichweite ? :) Das Bestreitet auch keiner. Aber wenn du das Video mal Schaust. Die Kremlin ist 9km weg und es sind noch andere Ziele ausserhalb vom Smoke. Ich hab schon mehr als einen Kreuzer ausm Smoke Geschossen. Aber nimmst mir nicht Übel. 2 von 3 Salven landen im Wasser wenn du in den Smoke Feuerst. Gerade auf 10km Entfernung. Was auch nicht Verwunderlich ist. Denn wenn du das mal Testest. Wenn du ohne Ziel Anvisierung Feuerst. Bekommst du nen echt Absurd hohen Spread. Teilweise wenn du in die Mitte vom Smoke Fuerst. Landen die Granaten sogar noch vor und hinter dem Smoke. Wenn du also Ziele ausserhalb vom Smoke hast. Ist es meistens Sinnvoller auf diese zu Feuern. Ausnahme natürlich wenn der Kreuzer im Smoke fast Tod ist. Dann lohnt sich das schon etwas eher. Und nimms mir nicht Übel. Aber Kremlin vs Smolensk während Smolensk im Smoke Steht. Wird die Kremlin deutlich Schlechtere Karten haben auch wenn sie in den Smoke Feuert.

Nope. Smolensk mit HE hat 2130 Alpha DPS. (16x13.3x1800) /60/3 Harugumo mit HE hat 1330 Alpha DPS. (10x20x1200) /60/3 Die Formel oben bezieht sich in dieser Reihenfolge auf: Anzahl der Geschütze x Schuss pro Minute x Schaden pro Granate /Sekunden pro Minute /0.33 Faktor für Penetrations Treffer von HE. Die Smolensk hat also fast Doppelt so hohe DPS wie eine Harugumo. Das Video zeigt das Übrigens auch. Denn die Harugumo macht trotz des Torpedo Treffers aktuell weniger Schaden an der Kremlin als die Smolensk.

Die Smolensk hat in diesem Fall aktuell nur 2 Feuer Gelegt. Also vernachlässigbar. Der Löwenanteil vom Schaden kam direkt von den Kanonen. Und nimms mir nicht Übel. Aber Ich denke mal wie hier Eindrucksvoll gezeigt wurde. Wenn du von ner Smolensk zugespammt wirst. Ist dein Leben defintiv Kürzer als der Smoke der Smolensk.

Du Darfst Lachen. Aber selbst auf Breitseite ist das ein Extrem guter Wert. Minotaur und Worcester selbst wenn wir mal Ignorieren das die beiden eine Schlechtere Genauigkeit haben und daher mehr Misses hätten. Würden in der selben Situation nur etwa 30-35k Damage Verursachen. Des Moines oder Hindenburg aufgrund der hohen AP Penetration könnten ggf mehr Schaden machen wenn sie genug Glück haben und Citadellen Treffer landen. (Was bei einer Kremlin Trotz Breitseite bei weitem nicht Garantiert ist.) Aber man sollte hierbei mal etwas Anmerken. Die Smolensk hat im Video ausschließlich auf die Superstruktur Gefeuert. Für die Kremlin hätte es also keinerlei Unterschied gemacht selbst wenn sie Perfekt angewinkelt gewesen wäre ;) Und Leute. Bitte hört auf mit dem Blindfeuer in den Smoke. BB Genauigkeit bei Blindfeuern ist NOCH SCHLECHTER als ohnehin schon. Und Ein Ziel im Smoke zu Treffen selbst wenn du wirklich Punktgenau darauf Zielst. Ist ziemlich selten und sehr Glücksbasiert. Auf 5km klappt das schon eher. Aber auf 10km ist das wirklich selten ein Sinnvoller einsatz der Geschütze. Das is genau das selbe wie bei euerm Z52 Müll. Wo ihr meint die Z52 Torpedoes wären so toll weil sie Schnell Nachladen. Dabei aber komplett Ignoriert das aufgrund des Niedrigen Schadens diese hohe Nachladerate trotzdem in einem Erbärmlichen DPS Wert resultiert. Weswegen eine Shimakaze also ein Echter Torpedo Zerstörer. Praktisch jeden ihrer 3 Werfer Einzeln benutzen könnte. Und damit immernoch bei der Salve von Torpedoes mehr Schaden machen würde als die Z52 während sie Gleichzeitig 3 Salven in der selben Zeit werfen kann in der die Z52 nur 2 Salven wirft. Ihr konzentriert euch immer auf nur einen einzigen aspekt und eine einzige Situation und verweigert einfach alles andere. Aber das is nicht Realistisch. Ihr müsst die Kombinierten Werte Sehen. Schaden ergibt sich aus Feuerrate, Schaden Pro Granate UND Anzahl der Geschütze. Es ist vollkommen Irrelevant wenn ein Schiff in einem dieser Werte der absolut Beste ist. Denn das Ergebnis kommt aus dem Endergebnis der 3 Werte. Und hier ist die Smolensk einfach an der Spitze. Da könnt ihr rumjodeln und ablenken soviel ihr wollt. Das ist einfach ne Tatsache. Immoment is die Smolensk einfach das Top Spam Schiff überhaupt. Kein anderes Schiff kann ansatzweise diese DPS rausprügeln wie die Smolensk.

Das Video ist Definitiv Nicht von einem Average Player. Aber während wir nicht aus Spielstil Schließen können. Was wir machen können. Ist die Fakten aus diesem Video rausziehen. 15 Salven von der Smolensk. Also 240 Granaten Abgefeuert. Die Gesamte Zeit vom Ersten Abfeuern der Kanonen bis zum Sinken der Kremlin ist 57 Sekunden In der Zeit hat die Smolensk 50k Damage gemacht. Es wurden Gemacht. 36 Overpens. 98 Pens. 70 Shatter 12 Bounces Daraus Ergeben sich Nur 24 Verfehlte Granaten auf 8-10km Es wurde sowohl mit AP als auch HE Geschossen. Beide haben aktuell ziemlich ähnliche Schadensnummern hochgeworfen. Als die Sektion noch Frisch war gab es 3-5k Damage. Als sie Saturated war ist auf 1-3k runtergegangen. Die Smolensk hat einen Alpha DPS von 2200. Dieser geht auf 1100 Runter gegen Saturated Section. Die Smolensk in diesem Fall hat eine Real DPS von 800+ Geschafft. Gegen eine Kremlin also eines der am Besten Gepanzerten BBs in T10. Das ist ein Extrem guter Wert. Wesentlich besser als eine Worcester. Die Mino könnte es Schaffen solange der Gegner sich nicht Anwinkelt. Die Behauptung das eine Smolensk ohne Probleme ein T10 BB trotz guter Panzerung wegprügeln kann ist damit jedoch Zweifeslfrei Erwiesen.
