  2. Lately Wargaming has been Bombarding us with German Premium Ships. Now as I like German Ships this is actually a Happy thing for me. Because I was always hoping for more German Ships. And we have not been getting any for quite a while before. But on another Viewpoint this also Worries me. Because right now Germany only has 1 Line for each Class. (Soon at least. When the Carriers Arrive) And I actually Hoped that in the Future we might See Additional German Lines. Or at least Partial German Line Splits beyond T6. But lately this is getting less and less Likely because more and more of the available Designs are getting thrown into the Game as Premium Ships. For Example. The Current München is the Early Design for the M-Project Light Cruiser. Which I would have Placed as a T8 as a Splitoff Point from the German Cruiser Line. Followed by the Late Design M-Project for T9 and the Mainz without the Armor Nerfs and with a Heal on T10. For Example. We now got 2 O-Class Battlecruisers and the Odin. Which could easily have been used with Odin at T8 being a Split off from Gneisenau. And then Leading to Ägir on T9 and Siegfried on T10 being Battleships instead of Supercruisers. (The O-Class was a Battlecruiser Project after all) For Example. We now get the Z35 Destroyer which is the 5x12.8cm Gun DD. Which I would Placed at T8 with Better Smoke and more Focus on Guns. On T9 you could then have used the Z43 which a Destroyer of the same Type. And which could get some Improved Reload and Speed in the Game. With T10 being the Type 1945 Destroyer Project that was never Finished. Which was a German Destroyer which had 4x2 128mm Guns and the Standard German Torpedo Layout thus being a Perfect Choice for a German Gun DD. Premiums would have been Better off being the Oddities of the German Naval Projects. For example the 1937J Destroyer which had 5 Single Mount 15cm Guns and only 1x4 Torpedoes. The P-Class Panzerschiff with 2x3 28cm Guns and an Impressive Secondary Suite as a Supercruiser. The H43 with 4x2 50cm Guns The German Flugdeckkreuzer Project which was an Aircraft Carrier that would only have Carried 2 Types of Planes but would have come with an Secondary Armament Consisting of 2x28cm Guns and alot of Smaller Guns :P I wonder if we now will ever see another German Tech Tree Line given that WG is using all the Designs as Premium Ships instead.

    No. Only 3 Options. 1. Public. meaning everyone can see all your Stats. 2. Invite Only. meaning you get a link you can give People to see your Stats but they wont be available without you giving that link to people. 3. Private. meaning they are hidden and nobody except yourself can see them.
  4. Its next to Impossible to give an accurate Estimation of their Capabilities before I can actually Play them. And since they wont be Released till 0.9.6 this will still be a while. During which there also might be further Changes. So pls keep that in mind when Reading my Post here as it will be based Purely on the Paper Data. German CVs will have Decent Secondaries which will Provide a Notable Protection against Destroyers. However they lack the Improved Accuracy and Heavy Guns of the Graf Zeppelin. So unlike Graf Zeppelin they wont be able to Massacre DDs and Cruisers using Secondaries. The Secondaries will still be better than most CVs tough. German CVs will have Strong AA. Which is a Typical Trait for (almost) all CVs. Thus here they pretty Average here. German CVs almost All have Decent Armor for the Citadel. But are Fairly Sqishi on the remaining Hull. Exception the T10 which has very Good Armor in General. On Planes. Germany comes with AP Rockets which I cant Judge as I never saw them in Action. Based purely on the Paper Stats they can be Powerful against Cruisers assuming they have the Penetration to reach the Citadel. Moreover it is questionable if they might be useful against DDs assuming they Arm fast enough to Sneak a few Full Pens in between Overpens. Germany comes with Torpedo Bombers which have Fast Torpedoes with a Good Arming Distance. Meaning the Torps are easy to Hit and therefore can also be used against Cruisers. The General Speed and Arming Distance is better than Japanese Torps which means they will be extremely Dangerous to Cruisers. But the Damage is slightly lower of course. About 75% of Japanese Torps. Which means they wont be extremely useful against Battleships. Especially not against stuff like Yamato or Kremlin with their Insane Torpedo Belts. Finally Germany comes with AP Bombers. The Damage is Inferior to the Japanese ones. But the Speed of the Bombers is of course Superior. Now these are the Hardest to Judge. Because the Question is the Dispersion on the Bombs. If they have Graf Zeppelin Dispersion then these AP Bombs are utter Trash and will basicly be a Dead Squadron only useful for inbetween Lucky Hits. If their Dispersion is closer to the Japanese Bombers then they might actually be highly Dangerous especially to Cruisers. In Total. No. I Highly Doubt these will be Easy to Use. They are like Graf Zeppelin very likely to Require a different Playstyle than other CVs and will Rely Heavily on having a Skilled Player using them. As less Skilled Players wont be able to Utilize the Weapons and Speed on this CV. In the Hands of a Skilled CV Player they might be Viable in Randoms tough. Especially since they might have a Great Potential for Devstriking Cruisers that think Camping behind an Island is a Good Idea.

    Ich sags mal so. Du kannst ja Gerne mal Probieren 10 Gefechte mit Voller Beflaggung etc für nen T8 BB, Kreuzer oder DD zu machen. Und Schauen was dabei rauskommt. OP Heißt nicht das du Unbesiegbar bist. OP Heißt das du einen Massiven Vorteil gegenüber dem anderen hast der nicht durch deinen eigenen Skill sondern nur durch das von dir Gewählte Schiff besteht. Hab das schon hunderte male erklärt. Nen Machinengewehr ist OP wenn du es mit ner Pistole Vergleichst. Das ist ne Tatsache die wohl keiner der noch ganz bei Sinnen ist bestreiten wird. Das heißt aber nicht das du niemals nen Machinengewehr Schützen mit ner Pistole Erschießen kannst. Denn OP heißt nicht Unverwundbar oder Unbesiegbar. OP heißt nur das "Overpowered" also Nicht "Balanced" so wie das innem Spiel sein sollte.

    Er wollte aktuell sogar nur 2 Replay haben. Aber wie schon gesagt. Mir war ohnehin Klar das wenn dann solche Replays gepostet werden man sich wieder irgendwas ausdenkt warum das ja trotzdem nicht gilt etc etc. Das is nix Neues und war noch nie Anders. Leute sagen CVs sind nicht OP. Spiel die doch mal Selber dann siehste das de damit auch net Besser bist. Hab Ich gemacht. Und siehe da Ergebnisse massiv besser als alle anderen Klassen. Leute sagen Ja das is nur weil du ja die OP Japaner CVs fährst. Hab Ich GZ genommen den Schwächsten CV in T8... Ja Ne GZ is ja auch OP Premium. Mach mal die Briten CVs da wirste Sehen das CVs garnicht OP Sind. Hab Ich die Briten gemacht. War Trotzdem OP. Ja aber T8 CV is Nutzlos in T10. Ne Mino is ne No Fly Zone. Die kann man garnicht Bomben. Hab Ich Minos Gebombt..... Ja aber das is ja nur Kamikaze Angriff die Flieger sind alle nachm Ersten Drop weg. Hab Ich ne Mino die Neben der Jean Bart Stand mit dem Selben Squadron 2 mal gebombt..... Ja aber Ja aber Ja aber Ja aber Ja aber Ja aber. Sehen wir den Tatsachen ins Auge. Der CV Könnte jede Runde Taktische Atombomben Werfen die jedes Schiff innem 10km Radius Onehitten. Und ihr würdet trotzdem noch behaupten das CVs nicht OP Sind..... Ich hab meinen teil gemacht und Replays Geliefert ;) Mehr Mühe mache Ich mir hier Nicht.

    So. Ich hatte die Woche endlich mal ein Paar Tage Frei. Und bin daher mal dazu gekommen etwas zu machen worum Ich vor einiger Zeit gebeten wurde. @Re4cher Du hattest ja mal um ein paar Replays Gebeten. Ich weiß Natürlich das du dir sowieso dann wieder irgendne ausrede suchen wirst warum ja CVs garnicht OP sind und warum die Replays ja garnicht deiner Forderung entsprechen etc etc. Aber da Ich Zeit hatte und ohnehin RP brauche habe Ich mal die Britischen CVs Resetted. Hier das Ergebnis und die Replays von meinem Implacable Grind den Ich dann heute mal eingelegt habe.     Ship Tiers are mostly Pure Fantasy of Wargaming. Reload as well as HP and Range etc is all Fantasy. They could give M-Pro 4 Second Reload on the 15cm Guns. Effectively giving it the same DPM as Mainz.
  10. I doubt there is any kind of Newbe Protection System in the Game to be Honest. The Main Reason for your Experience is very likely Related to the Games Mechanics and Fine Workings behind them. But also due to Changes that were made Lately. 1. Wargaming is currently Repeatedly Releasing Ships which are simply very low Armored and therefore tend to be Overpenetrated which Gains almost no Damage. This of course has led to there being much more cases of Broadsiding Cruisers not ending up Punished. 2. As you Correctly State. Lately the Average Level of Players seems to be Dropping. Not sure why. Maybe its because we gained alot of Newbes from Corona Lockdowns ??? Which means you have alot more cases of People being Blapped right away. But also alot of Cases of Players being Lucky on Broadside and Bouncing Shells or getting Overpenned. 3. Something that went a bit under the Radar. On the IFHE Rework. Cruisers Armor was Updated to Cope with the new IFHE. However. These Changes are not just about IFHE. Alot of Cruisers which had less than 30mm Deck Armor simply got Upgraded to 30mm Deck Armor which means they suddenly are Capable of Bouncing 42cm Shells from their Deck Armor. Something alot of Cruisers were not Capable of before. And which has led to Cruisers in General having a Much Bigger Chance to Survive Hits from Battleships at longer Ranges where the Shells usually just Overmatched and not rarely went straight through to the Citadel. (I am pretty sure they sneaked this one in with the IFHE Rework mostly to give the 45cm Guns which cant Overmatch 32mm some Extra Incentive. So they could Sell more Georgia, Thunderer, Ohio etc...) And Finally there is also the Simple Matter of Psychology. Our Brain Unfortunately takes a much Stronger Response on things we dont like. Than on things we find Normal. So when you Blap a Cruiser which was showing Flat Broadside. Then your Brain is like "Yep as Expected. Move on" and short time later you Forget. After all nothing exciting happened. Meanwhile if in that Situation you dont Blap the Cruiser. Your Brain is like "What the F***. How did he Survive. What happened?????" and this Event stays around your Head quite long. And this Tends to Play a bit of a Trick on Players Minds. Because when your New to the Game and dont Understand much of the Mechanics. Everything is New. And if you Blap a Cruiser you are Excited and will Pay alot of Attention to it etc. But when you get more Experienced in the Game. And understand the Mechanics. You start Expecting certain Results. There is no Surprise Involved. Just Business as usual. And so all these Events where this Business as usual has happened Normally. Are effectively Skipped over by your Memory and are deleted short time later as they are not worth being Saved as Memories for your Brain. So the more you Understand the Game. The more the Exceptions tend to Stick out like Sore Thumbs.

    I have a Feeling that with all the New T10 Premium DDs. Something we will be seeing sooner or later. Will be the German 1945 Destroyer Design. Equipped with 4x2 128mm Quick Firing Guns and 2x4 Torpedo Launchers. Decent AA Suite, 39 Knots Speed. Maybe with a Decent Smoke so its a Valid Gun DD.

    Possible. They might also just Gimp the Torps. Albeit thats hardly Possible given the Z52 already has Horrible Torps that have no Range and Deal no Damage...

    Possible ^^ But think of it like this. If currently the Game is already Boring in my Eyes. Then not Changing it means a 100% Chance of it Remaining Boring. There is 0% chance of it becoming Fun again. Changing it might have an 80% Chance of it Remaining Boring or getting even more Boring. However it at least has a 20% Chance of making it Fun again :) Hence. I rather take the 20% Chance than the 0% Chance.

    Nope. Usually using (...) Dont ask me Why. But our Teacher in Language Class usually put (...) on Comments he Inserted into our Work or even into School Books etc. So I guess I just Copied that and thus if I add a Comment to my Text I tend to also put it in (...) During my Time at School I also often Modded Games. Which in some case had (...) to mark Comments by the Devs to Explain Modders what a Certain Line of Code is doing without the Program Reading it as Code and Potentially Producing Errors. So it might also be because of that.

    Jup Played it. And I actually Find Submarines very Exiting to Play. Unlike the Cap Point Brawls between DDs which are often not Decided by the Players Brawling but by the Teams behind them. The Submarines can have a Brawl which is more Personal and less Influenced by the Surrounding Ships. Submarines cant really Win alone against a CV. But likewise a CV cant Stop them either. And Unlike DDs they have a more Efficient Way of Dealing with Radar. Subs thanks to having the Ability to move on despite being Detected also come with another Advantage. Which is that they can Flank Island Cover and Bow in BBs that just stand somewhere. They are a True Blockade Breaker because their Torps dont leave a Gap and will adjust for smaller movements. They got some issues of course. Like the Cheesing with 6m Depth or the Point Blank Torps. But thats minor issues that can be fixed easily. But in Total they are Great Fun to Play for me.

    For me its Grosser Kurfürst. I like Playing that Ship. And I am actually Pretty Strong Playing that Ship. Often going out of the Battle with over 100k Damage and 3 Million Damage Tanked against the Enemy. Always being at the Front with the Ship to make sure that the Enemy keeps Shooting at me and not at my Squishy Teammates. With pretty much all of my Ships my Statistics are Aligned with my Winrate. If I have a Decent Performance I also have a halfwat decent Winrate and Vice Versa. While if I am bad with the Ship my Winrate is Bad as well. But not on this Ship. Even tough my Performance is Decent on it. My Winrate just refuses to follow up.

    Well. I think Subs might be the Way to Break the Meta and Save the Game. I have long been Annoyed by the Fact that the vast majority of Influence lies with CVs and DDs. And here Submarines might be coming in for a Break in the Meta which will Change the Game forever. Because Submarines will take over the Vanguard Duty of DDs. While at the same Time Submarines can Fulfill this Vanguard Duty without being Easy Targets for CVs. DDs will be Forced to Play more Defensively. Something they often already have to do anyways if the Enemy has a Decent CV Player. This will of course Limit their Influence as part of that Influence is now taken over by Submarines. Likewise as this very Influental Part of their Gameplay is taken over by Submarines. Not only will they lose that Influence. But the CVs who got most of their Influence from Killing DDs and thus Denying this Influence to the Enemy Team. Cant Kill Submarines which do this Job. This way the Game might actually Turn out Massively Better Balanced with much more Spread out Influence among the Classes.

    I Understand what your Posting Mate. (Even tough its pretty hard given that you dont seem to be Good at English) But your Making a Logical Fallacy. Winrate is and always be the Main Stat everyone Looks at. This is not due to WG and wont Change if you Rename it. Because this comes from the Simple Fact that Competetive Players always Play for only one thing. And that is Victory. Therefore no matter what WG Does. The Primary Stat Players will always be looking at. Is your Winrate. You seem to think that because WG is Posting the Winrate as a Central Stat People are Looking at it as the Main Stat. So you want WG to Hide that Stat as a Side Stat hoping that then others will Stop Looking at it. But this wont Work. Because the ones making it a Main Stat is the Simple Reality of Competetive Gaming that the only thing that Counts at the End of the Day is Victory. Meaning no matter where Wargaming Hides the Winrate. All the 3rd Party Statistics Sides (which are used far more than WGs Statistics Page) will always be Putting up your Winrate at the Absolute Top of the List. And all Good Players will always Look at your Winrate. Even if you Rename it to Teamrate. 3rd Party will just keep it as the Name Winrate and everyone will be looking at your "Teamrate" (which really is just your Winrate anyways) and will Judge you based on that anyways. Thats just how it is Mate. WG cant realistically do anything about that. Because the only Way WG could Prevent this. Would be by Removing Winrate from the Game Entirely. Meaning that WG would not keep Track of wether a Player Wins or Not. And thus would not give 3rd Party Websites any Information on Winrate of Players either. Meaning that Stat would simply not be Tracked at all. But this will Never happen because it would Lead to an Massive Outry in the Community as Tons of Players want to know this Winrate.

    Mate. If you dont want others to See your Stats. Just make your Stats Private. Click on your Profile. Then on the Left Column go to "Profile on Website" and there you have the Option to make your Statistics Private or Only Visible by Direct Link. Winrate being the most Relevant Stat is something that is Deadset into the Communities Opinion from the Start. Because all Competetive Games are about Winrate. WG Changing the Stats Display wont be changing that View at all. Every Decent Player Knows that the Game is a 12 vs 12 and therefore the Effect on Winrate that a Single Player has is Limited. Even the Worst Player will Win some Games and even the Best Player will lose some Games. Thats not a Secret and thats not something Good Players will Contest. Moreover any Good Player knows that Winrate is only 1 Part of the Package. If you for example have a Player which has a Good Winrate but whose Personal Rating is constantly very Low. Then any Good Player will take a Closer Look at the Stats to Determine if that Guy was maybe just Lucky or is Padding his Stats in Low Tiers. Or maybe is just being Carried Constantly by his Friends etc etc. So No Decent Player will Judge Purely on Winrate and Ignore everything else. Likewise. Alot of Good Players Agree that Ship Class is very Relevant. A CV or DD for example can be Judged extremely Good on Winrate. Because they are High Influence Classes which often Decide a Match. Meanwhile for BBs the PR often is Viewed as the more Importand Factor. Because BBs tend to not have that much Influence unless they are Part of a Division. Because they are Extremely Reliant on Teammates and therefore cant Perform well unless their Teammates give them the required Support. Meaning they are a Low Influence Class and (if Solo) have much less Impact on Winning or Losing the Match. But the Fact of the Matter Remains. That at the end of the Day the Winrate is the Primary Target. People that Play Competetive. PLAY TO WIN. And how Successful they Manage that is the Main Stat most People are Interested in.
  24. Looking at the Directives for Odin. I actually find these pretty Acceptable. But more Importandly. I like the Idea of Offering Optional Mission Objectives. Having Missions that have you Complete 1 out of 2 Possible Objectives with different Requirements gives the Player more Options to Play in a way he Likes or Avoid Tasks that he Dislikes. So I hope that this will Stay around and also become the Norm in other Directives. It also seems to be used here to mitigate the Coop Farming a bit. As some Objectives that are way too easy in Coop have been excluded and have instead been given a different Objective in Coop. Which is also fine with me. Because. No Offense Intended to the Coop Players. But I actually dont like Playing Coop. And in many Grind Events so far. It was basicly the Question. Do I spend 5 Hours doing this in Randoms or do I make it 1 Hour in Coop where I can get this Guaranteed 5 times each Match. And if this allows me to do things in Random rather than being Forced into Coop then thats alright with me. I also got some Complaints which I.ll put in the Spoiler to spare the actual Topic these xD

    Lol Bad Luck on not Seeing that. It was Fairly Clear Tough. You also get a Report of Progress after each Match. So if you dont get that you should Read it again to See what went Wrong. As for managing Graf Spee I dont think you need to Worry. The Event still Runs for like 40 or so Days. So you have Plenty of Time to do the Missions. I already have Graf Spee. So only Credits for me. But its a Nice Ship actually. The Guns are very Powerful on T6. The 8km Torps are a Rarity for German Cruisers. And it also comes with a Decent Secondary Suite as well as Hydro and a Heal. (A Heal on a T6 Cruiser ^^) Its really a Pretty Nice Ship in General.
