1. Its nice that you did that in the Past before Clanbattles even Existed lol Aside from back then there likely being a bit less Expectation on all Sides. There is however also the Issue that this is QUITE a while Ago when alot of the Meta Problems we got currently were not really the Case :) And no Offense Intended Mate. But if I used my Grand Understanding of this Game I developed in the Beta and early Days of WoWs. Then I am pretty sure everyone would Agree that what I say is Completely Outdated and barely even Applicable anymore ;) 2. I do however actually like the Idea. This would also be an Option you know. Just let WG Staff now and then be "Guest Stars" in High League Teams. Let them Join the Strategy Meeting and Play Rounds with the Top Clans. This might be an even better Idea than WG Forming an own Clan and Trying to get as Far as they Can. Because this way they will have Highly Competetive Players Showing them Exactly what few Options there are if you want to Win High League Matches and also having them being Part of the Boring and Stale Gameplay that Results from this. 3. I never Attribute to Malice what can be Attributed to lack of Competence. Hence seeing the currently Horrible Situation I will first Assume that this wasnt Intentional. If you claim they Perfectly know their Game and thus this was actually not Unintentional then I really wonder what kind of "Vision" they have for CBs. Because right now its basicly Headed towards people Sitting Bow in and Focus Firing each other on Long Range from always the same Positions. 4. I Explained the Problem with Balancing by Averages in the Post Above. But in the First Place. If you Truly want to Balance something. You have to Balance it on both Sides. Not just Choose 1 Side and Balance it almost entirely on that. Balancing the Game Purely on Unicums would be just as Bad as the Current Situation where its Balanced almost Purely on Average Players. There is Different Methods to that as well. One Method Games use is to make it a Tradeoff. Effectively if a Ship is very Strong for Unicums but very Weak for Average Players you try to Buff abilities which are easy to use and Nerf abilities that are Powerful when used Correctly. Thus trying to Improve the Average Performance but Reducing the Unicums Performance. In case of CVs for example an easy way to Lower the Skillgap would be to Increase the Continues AA Power but Nerf the Heavy AA Power. Thus not Punishing Bad CV Players as much when Flying into Heavy AA. But Increasing the Punishment from AA which both Unicums and Average Players are Hit by. For Average Players this would mean they got little to no change. But to Unicums this would make things Significantly Harder :) Another Method is to use Weighted Balancing. Meaning that both Average Performance and Unicum Performance is Considered in the Balance. But to make sure that Unicum Performance is not Drowned out you give a higher Weight to it in the Calculation of the Average. Thus not Balancing Purely or even Majorly on the Unicum Performance. But also not Outright Ignoring it like is the case right now. For example. It could be Set so that each Playergroup gets the same Weight regardless of their Size. Meaning the Performance will be 20% from Bad, 20% from below Average, 20% from Average, 20% from Good and 20% from Unicum Players. Maybe also while always taking a Look at each Seperate Performance to See if maybe one Group is Sticking out in an unexpected way. This would of course mean that instead of having Ships which are Extremely Outperforming on the Unicum End while being Equal on Average Ground. You now get Ships which will Outperform just a bit on Unicum Spectrum and will Underperform a bit on Average Spectrum. Finally there is also the Option of Balancing Ships based on Good Players. Meaning you neither use the Average Players nor the Unicums. And instead Balance it based on the Players which Generally know what they are doing even if they dont every Trick to the Ship there is. This Method basicly Applies a Minimum Skill Value for Players to Achieve the Performance of the Ship on which it is Balanced. This Blunts the Worst Impacts of Unicum Abilities as well as also Blunting the Worst Impacts of the Average and Below Playerbase and thus like the Method above will bring actual Results of differently Skilled Players with the same Ship closer together without Cutting out as much of the Pitfalls and Applicable Special Tricks that cause Bad Players to vastly underperform or Unicums to vastly overpoerform. Meaning its a bit of a weaker variant of the Method above. For Clanbattles especially this would likely be less Efficient than the Above Method but would still Result in an Improvement. -

Not really getting Upset ^^ Just following an old German Teaching. How you Yell into the Forest. So it will Echo out of it ;) You came in here with that Cheap Taunt so your getting the Appropriate Response to it ;) 1. Its Hillarious how Hard your trying to make it look like I never Played or Play CBs just because I didnt Play with your tryhard Team in the Last T10 CB-CV Season ^^ Even more so because you leisurely Ignore the Fact that this basicly means you should Support this Request for WG to Play Clanbattles. ^^ But that aside. See thats the thing. Nobody expects WG to become Rank 1 Clan in Highest League. Its Perfectly Fine if they only Play to a Legue where the Meta starts Kicking in. So they have to actually work out Strategies and thus Start Realizing just why the Meta they Created is so Stale and Boring. I dont need to Invest much time into that. Because guess what. I am not the one Deciding the Balancing of the Game ;) 2. Actually its not Unreasonable at all. Because People working in Game Development tend to have Experience in Games. And more Importandly. They should be knowledgable enough of their own Game that they know the Meta and thus can Compete. WoWs is not exactly the most Demanding Game in terms of Motory Skills. The vast Majority of Skill in this Game is actually Knowledge of the Game. Something which Devs Honestly said should be Pretty good at. Thing is. I am not even Expecting them to that Far. I am Perfectly Happy if they Compete to the Point of being Forced to actually work out Strategies and thus get a good Grasp of the Meta and see just how much the current Situation restraints that. Something which they Pretty Obviously dont do right now ;) 3. These Suggestions are actually all part of Randoms. They only happen to apply for CBs especially. This is not Surprising because these Suggestions mostly Aim at Preventing CVs from Shutting down DDs and being the Strongest Support and Strongest Killing Class at the same Time by Reducing One of the Two Abilities. But that Aside. I am simply Frank Mate. If you still havnt Understood that even after Spending Time with me in Discord I really have no Idea how hard your Trying to Ignore the Possibility of others maybe having a Different Personality than you. I dont Sugarcoat things. But I dont mean any Harm here either. This Suggestion for WG to Play a Season of Clanbattles and do it on a Competetive Level Seriously Trying to get as far as they Can and thus Learning the Meta. I am not gonna Flower this up to make it more Palatable Mate ;) 4. I actually Explained several Times both in Discord and in these Forums why Spreadsheet cannot Possibly Work. But a Fast kickback for you. Currently. If you have 10000 Players and then take 5% of them as the Super Unicums and assume the Remaining 95% to be Average to Different Degrees. Then let them Play 2 Ships. One will get an Average Performance Rating of 1100 for the 9500 Average Guys and 1300 for the Unicums. The other will get an Average Performance Rating of only 1000 for the 9500 Average Guys but will draw an Incredible 1800 for the Unicums. Then for us as Players its Pretty Obvious that the Second Ship is pretty Overpowered. But apparently a little bit Harder to Play than the First Ship. Lets Face it. In Clanbattles you will get only the Second Ship and never the First. But now lets Check what Statistics tell you about this. Because the First Ship actually gets a Performance Rating Average for these 10k Players which is 1110. Meanwhile the Second Ship gets a Performance Rating Average for these 10k Players which is only 1040. So According to General Statistics the Second Ship is actually Perfectly within Balanced Territory or maybe even a bit on the Weaker Side. The Problem with Spreadsheet and Balancing by Statistics. Is that you basicly Ignore the Ships actual Capabilities. You only Count the Abilities that the Average Player can actually Utilize. Welcome to how exactly you get these Ships which are Pretty Weak but easy to Play and thus wont get Buffed as in Average they still get Decent Results. And those Ships which are Ridiculously Overpowered but dont get Nerfed because they are Hard to Play and thus tend to get bad Results in Average. 5. Your Assumptions on why WG did something and the Promises WG has been making for Months now are your Free Opinion just like my Opinion of them not really taking this Seriously enough being Mine. Thing is. The Facts aint Changed from that. The Fact is that WG has been making next to no Changes to CVs Clanbattle Capacities and while WG now and then Talks about Testing Potential Changes none of it has been Publicly Tried so far. Not sure where your seeing a Morale Victory Attempt. I dont even really know how you would Link Morality to this to be Honest. I am simply doing the same I always do. I Judge by Actions and Results. Not by Promises and Words. And while as you Quoted WG has Repeatedly talked about Potential Changes and about Understanding the Problem. Their Actions and Results so far dont really Show that. If you Judge by Words instead of Actions what you end up with is called Trump Mate ;) -
Submarine Battles results and work on submarines (DB 60)

1. While I am Happy that this will be an Indirect Buff to German Battleships because they thanks to their Hydro and Floatplanes are likely to become pretty Efficient Submarines Hunters now. This in a Sense will make it Pretty hard for Submarines to do anything. At least if these Charges are Strong enough to bother the Submarine. Because this means that thanks to their extremely Limited Range, Low Speed and Low HP even Attacking a Battleship will become a Deathtrap as unlike DDs they cannot do it without Revealing their rough Location. (DDs only reveal a Previous Location cause the Torps wont be seen for quite a while and tend to have the Speed and Range to actually Change their Position rapidly) 2. DD Hydrophones now Outranging certain Submarines is also a Problem to be Honest. Because it means that now a Submarine Literally cannot get close to a DD while staying Hidden. And worse. Now a DD can basicly sit behind a BB and his Hydrophone will Pick up the Sub causing the BBs and Heavy Cruisers to Send waves of Bombers there..... 3. The Spotting Changes Increase that Effect. Because now effectively a DD will be able to Locate a Submarine before the Submarine can even See the DD. Because the DD will get a Warning of the Submarines rough Location 7km away. While the Submarine will be Spotting the DD only when its between 3 and 5 km away depending on the DDs Concealment. Which will make Fighting off or Escaping a DD even less Possible than it already was. I would Understand this Change if BBs and Heavy Cruisers would not have gotten ASW Weapons. But with CAs and BBs getting ASW Weapons this Change turns Subs into Fodder which will have Trouble Attacking anything at all. 4. At least the Final Change of making HE hit below Water to a higher Depth than the Surface Depth of the Sub is a Good Change as it Creates a Buffer. I hope you also remember to make Depth Charges not become useless when the Sub just Surfaces. Nothing new there. From the Fact that a CV must not be taken out of the Game no matter how Badly he Plays while any other Ship would basicly be Killed if it did that. To the Fact that DDs by now basicly have to know a Second Concealment Range have to Constantly fiddle with their AA Guns and have to know Attack Distances of different Plane Squadrons of Different CVs to somehow be able to at least make themselves harder Targets etc etc. From the get go. It seems WG has an extremely low Opinion of CV Players. I wonder why they dont just Automate the Complete Process of CVs and basicly have the CV Player just Steer the Ship while Clicking Targets for Bombing Strikes with a Binocular. -
Not sure it will also affect Hitboxes. But I would Certainly Welcome more Elaborate Damage Graphics with actual Destruction and Holes rather than the current just turning it black effect.

Oh do you know the Answer ? Because I have a Feeling you only know the Answer of the One of these Three Seasons where I skipped out because I decided not to bother with it due to it Overlapping with my Shiftchange. :) (And also because a Certain Bunch of Tryhards took over the Effort in Clanbattles and thus more or less Ended up Playing in their little Tight Group thus me not really being able to Participate when my Limited Time allowed it.) So maybe you should not Cater so much to your little Vendetta and stop trying to pick a Fight at every occassion ;) But leaving the Cheap attempt to Discredit me out of the Way Mate. It is way Ironic that you basicly want to Claim I am not Allowed to make a Judgement on Clanbattles when I am not Playing it Actively while at the same Time claiming that my Statement that WG should maybe Form a Team and Play Clanbattles to get a Better Idea of it would just be Catering to Public Opinion ^^ So Thanks for Supporting my Argument I guess ? :) Glad you also have the Opinion that People who dont Actively Play Clanbattles cant really know everything about it *gg* I for my Part wont Pretend to know the Complete Meta behind it. Its true after all that I only Play Clanbattles Occassionally. But that means even more that Wargaming should Play Clanbattles. Because you See. I am not a Dev making Balancing Decisions in this Game ;) So for me its Fine if I am not an Expert on it. WG however actually has to Balance this and make Decisions based on it. Unlike me they cant exactly just be Casuals here that Join in for the Fun now and then ^^ On your Actual Topic Points. 1. As I said. Pls dont Limit this to CVs. We got enough CV Topics already. I know that CVs are basicly the Elepheant in the Room that is extremely hard to Avoid when Talking about this. But even before CVs the amount of Stalingrads for example was already a Big Issue which went Unaddressed for way too long. 2. Love that Instant Attempt to Force it into an CV Removal Discussion even after I myself made Clear that I am actually only for a Temporary Removal of CVs till they found a better Option to Implement them into Clanbattles. You would make BeastOfWar Proud with this Mate :) Thing is Mate. Currently Wargaming is doing next to Nothing to Balance CVs in CBs. They made a few Ideas to Limit their Influence but then Scrapped them Instantly and are now Basicly Planning to have the Next Season as well just Run without any Notable Changes. Which pretty Clearly Shows that they are not taking this Seriously at all. They are still Trapped in that Funny little Idea that its just leftover Hatred against CV from their Botched up Rework. And for some Reason seem to think that it will just Die Down over Time even tough its Pretty Obvious by now that these Complaints wont be stopping anytime Soon unless something is done. Not Sure. Maybe they also think that Submarines will Fix the Issue because then we got a Class that can Spot and is mostly Save from CVs. And thus Hope they can just Weather the Storm till Subs come around. As WG isnt exactly Communicating their Plans here we cant really know :) 3. So basicly after this little Stunt of trying to Say I dont even know. You basicly Confirm that I am right and that currently Clanbattles are Stale and Boring and that there is Pretty Obvious Problems with it which Honestly said should be Noticed by People if they Actually Played it themselves ? Should I pretend to be Surprised ? :) Now. I myself havnt bothered with the Maps so much. I was only able to Play CBs Regular earlier in the Season when I was on Holiday and thus didnt have to worry about my Shiftchange. But on terms of being Viable I would not really consider Ships Viable just because one Clan Succeeds with them. You always have some Exceptions to the Rule. Would be nice to have some Statistics to See just which Ships have Dominated this Season. I would dare making a Guess at Graf Spee and Ryuojo being pretty high up at least. 4. Sorry Mate. But we have been waiting for WG to Implement Changes for how long now ? I think it will soon be 1 Year that CVs Entered CBs. And Yet. WG has been Dragging their Feet pretty Hard. And while there was alot of Promises of Changes. What actually came through is really pretty little too Show dont you think ? :) -

Is the Increase of Arming Distance for Torpedo Acceleration a Bug ?

Uff. Wrong. I mean. On other Nations Torps where you have 35 Knots Speed. You could at least make the Point that making them 40 knots allows you to Drop Targets from behind without the Target nearly Outrunning the Torps. But for German Torps this just wont Fly.... 1. No. When you Drop on a Target from behind. The Torpedoes will still Reach the Minimum Distance in the Exactly same Time. So the only time where the Faster Torpedoes are Minimally Better is if you misjudged the Lead and thus Dropped so far that the Torpedo now has to Follow the Ship while already Armed thus creating a Dead Run Time between Minimum Distance and Actual Impact. Thing is. This is Instantly Outcancelt and Overwhelmed. Because in exchange if you Misjudge in the other Direction your Torps just dont Trigger at all. Pro Top. If you Drop from Behind you can actually Drop a bit into the Yellow Area. Which is far Safer than using the Self Nerf by using Faster Torps. 2. The Idea of the Buffer is also not really True. Because the Time in between the Drop and the Torpedoes Arming is still entirely the Same. Meaning wether or not the Enemy Ship manages to Pass the Yellow Line is ecactly the same Time as without the Skill. 3. So no. It does not let you Hit more Consistently. Actually in most cases it will Result in you Hitting less. Because you have to Drop from Further Away and have a Higher Chance to get Obstacles in between. You limit your Potential Drop Angles. And you lose the Ability to Force Ships into Slowing down to let Torpedoes Pass when Dropped from behind. Needless to say you also severely Hamper your Ability to Drop Torps as Sea Mines by Dropping them from longer Range where they wont be instantly spotted by the Targeted Ship. And Yeah. Thanks. But I tried this out myself. So Forgive me if I trust my own Results more than I trust yours. I know. Question is if this is Intended. Because Ingame it is Shown as a Distance. And for some Reason it seems that Wargaming is entirely Oblivious to this. So Question is if they just dont know cause they dont play CV or if this might actually not be working like it was Intended and thus WG has not Realized it yet. I know. Question is not how the System Works. Its wether this is Intentional. And Sorry. But given that the Reaction Time of the Minimum Dropping Distance is MUCH Shorter than the Reaction Time for Torps Dropped from further away. This Statement is wrong. Because the Ship will See these Torps further away than you can Drop them. So Dropping them beyond Minimum Arming Distance will Increase Reaction Time. Yes. Torpedoes with the Torpedo Accel Skill will Arm Later. Of course on DDs you wont notice because you usually wont Drop so close that it makes a difference. But for Aircraft that can actually Drop Torps next to a Ship its a big Issue. As for the Exact Timers. These are Different for each Ship. Basicly each Torpedo has a Timer before he Arms. But that Timer is Different on Different Torpedoes. So in Theory even a Slower Torpedo can Arm after a Longer Distance if his Timer is Long enough compared to the Speed of the Torpedo. German CVs for example have a pretty short Timer despite their High Speed. So they actually Arm at lower Distance than Japanese Torpedoes which are a bit Slower. -

If their Vision of Clanbattles is to be a Borin Stale Long Range Artillery Duel between Stalingrads and Venezias then sure. Great Job to them. But Sorry if I actually hope that this isnt WGs Vision here. And Pls note. I Support removing CVs from CBs till they find a Solution to make them Workable. Be that Minimap only Spotting or even making them Similar to Artillery in WoT and having them Require Spotting by other Ships. Adding Fuel to Squadrons so they can only Travel a Certain Distance. Or whatever other Possibitlies there are for this. However. For the Final Result I do share the Vision of having CVs being a Part of the Game and also of CBs. Thing is. It makes no Sense to Force them into Clanbattles when they are not Ready. My Vision for CBs also Includes DDs which are currently Shut out. All WG is Achieving with this Right now is Pouring Fuel into an Already barely Controllable Dumpster Fire thats been Raging for over a Year now and is Showing little Signs of going out. And who knows. If WG is actually Forced to Play themselves and actually has to Choose wether to Play by Meta or Lose constantly by bringing DDs instead. Then maybe they find a Solution that allows CVs to be there without Destroying the Mode. -

Then let me answer the Assumptions First. 1. I dont hold a History Record of WG. So I cant claim they NEVER Played it. But I do have no Information on them having Played it to a Competetive Level in the Current Meta with Venezias and CVs. 2. If nothing else. If they have to actually work out Strategies and thus have to actually Learn about the Meta. They will also Learn that what they often Write in their Devblogs on the issue is completely Alienating most of the Competetive Community. I have little Doubt at WGs Stubborness to Refuse "Seeing the Light" as you call it. But I do have Hopes that maybe it will at least make them Realize some of the more Obvious Issues like why DDs are basicly Removed from CBs right now. As they will have to Decide for themselves if taking a DD along is worth it. And will be Faced with the Fact that doing so will make them Lose alot more etc. You could also Sum it up as "Hope Dies last I guess" On the other Part of your Post. Strategy matters ALOT. But thats the thing. It only matters if you can keep it hidden from the Enemy. Because otherwise the Enemy will just immediately counter it. And turn it into a Disadvantage for you. And thats the thing. CVs by giving both Teams the Ability to Immediately see the Strategy of the Enemy Team. All Strategy becomes useless because it will always turn out to be a Direct Artillery Duel. And thats the thing. Without CVs. Stalingrads were already Popular because they could keep DDs on Distance with Radar AND where Strong in Artillery Fights. But they werent Omnipotent. You always had Minos and other Ships along which could use Concealment to stay hidden and go Forward. And you also always had other Ships around that were Stronger in certain other Situations than a Direct Long Range Artillery Duel. But with CVs all of this is Impossible. Concealment is worthless. Hence any Ship that is not the Strongest in a Direct Artillery Duel is also worthless because you simply cannot use any Strategies to get them into a Position where they are Strong. Hence. The only True Option for Clans that want to Win. Is to take the Ship that is Strongest in a Direct Artillery Duel. Any other Ship is meaningless and only Reduces your Chances to Win. Edit: Also just saying this. But if Strategies in Clanbattles are Meaningless. Then with all due Respect. Something is wrong. Because that Mode is Supposed to be Rules by Strategy and Skill. -

Thats easy to Answer. Unlike Randoms where you can at least make a Fair Case that Balancing should be Done based on the Average Player (even tough I disagree with it) Clanbattles are simply not something where going by Statistics and thus the Average Player makes Sense. Because Clanbattles are a Competetive Mode. So Balancing needs to be Done on the Top Leagues and thus the Full Potential of Ships. And thats the Thing. You cannot Possibly Grasp the Extend of things if you never Experience it yourself. If you Check Total Statistics you wont get any meaningful Picture because you Include the Low Level Clans which never Reach higher Leagues and which cant really use Overpowered Advantages due to simply not knowing about them. But if you Check Statistics of only Top Leagues you already have Filtered out everything thats not Meta and thus wont get any Result aside from "Well Venezia and Stalingrad are Omnipresent" etc. Meaning you are left to make Guesses on why and how that Happens. Currently. WG is Fishing Blind here. They have absolutely no Idea how Clanbattles work and how exactly certain things happen or become Meta. And this is Glaringly Obvious to pretty much all of the Top Clans Participating in Clanbattles. This is not just Obvious on CVs. But CVs are likely the Elephant in the Room. WG currently has absolutely no Idea why exactly Top Clans are so up in Arms about CVs. They still seem to think its just a General dislike of CVs and thus the Top Clans Joining in to Complain about it. And thats not Surprising. After all. How are you Supposed to See from Statistics that CVs completely Kill Strategies ? CV Spotting will likely not show out of the Ordinary because from the get go Good Clans will not do anything where Spotting of the CV would be a Problem. After all they all know they cant escape it. So from the Start everyone will just not attempt to do anything about it. And thats the thing. Statistics wont Show this. Statistics will not Show you that something is Overpowered. Because if something is Overpowered in Clanbattles then all Clans will do it and thus Cancel it out. Which then Results in the Currently Stale and Boring Meta of Stalingrad+Venezia+Haku -

1. That cant work. Because right now a Submarine cannot really Stay Hidden. Its Position is Revealed most of the time when Firing Torps. This only Works as long as not all Classes can Attack it. Because otherwise the Submarine simply cannot Attack anyone anymore. Subs are extremely Weak in Direct Confrontation after all. So if they gave BBs and Cruisers a way to Fight Subs. That would also mean that Subs need to be Buffed Tremendously. Because otherwise they simply cannot Pick a Fight even with the Class they are supposed to Target. For example. If BBs and Cruisers get a Floatplane dropping Waterbombs on Subs. This would Automaticly mean that a Sub can only Attack a BB lets say 3 Times. Because each time it attacks it will be dropped by a Floatplane. And against Cruisers it might even Deny Attacks Completely because they are too Nimble for Launching Torps against them from any meaningful distance. Meaning that each attempt they lose HP for nothing. And I just dont see WG giving Submarines and Big Buff like for example Torping without getting their Position Revealed or a Big Buff like giving them the HP Pool that they would need to Survive despite getting constantly dropped by Waterbombs. So whats left is 1 of 2 choices. A. These BB Anti Sub Weapons work. Then the Subs become entirely and utterly useless. Because they are basicly just Fodder. B. These BB Anti Sub Weapons dont work. Then its just a token Defense like Fubukis AA which nobody really cares about. 2. No. They said they Stopped working on it. They just packed it into Flowers to not make it Obvious. 3. They are not very Succesful at it then. Because CBs are Stale and Boring as ****. And well. I am not Surprised they dont see the Issue. Given their latest Guide on Skills and Modules for German CVs. Its glaringly Obvious that they never actually Play CVs themselves. And I have little doubt they never really Play Clanbattles either.

So Basicly. Subs will become useless Fodder. We will get to Test the new useless Fodder soon. Nothing will be Changed on CVs constantly touching Loliboats inappropriately. Clanbattles being dumbed down to a Simple Stalingrad/Venezia Artillery Duel is exactly what WG wants.

Audacious Rockets are Pretty Efficient against DDs. And unlike AP Rockets and Torps which are extremely Unreliable even against Potatoes. Audcaious Rockets are Pretty Reliable.

Audacious is vastly better than Manfred. Simply because it Rockets are Reliable at Killing DDs.

Depends on how Common they become to be Honest. Back in Navyfield. Kitakami was something you usually had 1 per Team of. But in WoWs I just dont see her being more than a 1 in 10 Games Encounter. Sure. Sometimes you will get 3 in one Game cause you hit that Triple Meme Division. But in General meeting one is not gonna be a Likely Scenario. To begin with. Checking the Fitting Tool its Fairly Obvious that Kitakami wont be a Really Strong Ship. The Wall of Skill with the Torpedoes Clearly is going to be a Great Source of Funny Moments and alot of Dev Strikes will happen with it against Unsusprecting People ^^ But in the End you are basicly a Torpedo DD with massive Amounts of Torpedoes but in exchange Horrible Concealment and a Citadel which will be Outgunned by even a Shimakaze. In a Sense. Kitakami being Added is a Buff to Z52 ^^ Because Kitakami is the First T10 DD in the Game which will lose a 1 vs 1 Gunfights against a Z52 and thus Allows the Z52 to Smoke Rush it. -
Manfred is currently the Weakest of the T10 CVs when Playing Randoms. The lack of Attack Options against Destroyers means that against any Decent CV Player Killing your DDs you have very little Options of keeping your Team in the Game. And worse than that. Even on Attacking other Ships your Weak Planes tend to Run out very Quickly as you just lose too many of them even when Attacking Targets that are Seperated from the main Fleet. Now. You can Try to Kill the Enemy Cruisers Quickly. Its far less Efficient than Killing Enemy DDs in other CVs. But so far its the most Effective Method I know for German CVs. I am likely going to Play Manfred a bit more soon. So I might Update that Tought once I got a Decent Batch of Games in it. But I have Doubts it will Change anything relevant really. For Clanbattles tough. Manfred might turn out to be a Monster. Manfred is the Absolutely Best CV in Dealing with Kiting Cruisers. And its AP Bombs and AP Rockets are Devastating against Island Camping Cruisers. Needless to say its AP Bombs are also more than Capable of Focusing down a Single BB Fast if the Enemy Clan Opts for BB in their Setup. Its Speed of Planes and the Fact that the Ship itself is Decently Armored makes sure that Manfred can do its Job as a Spotter as well. Haku does Maintain the Ability to Stealth Spot of course. Which is why its likely to Remain a Contender. But unlike Randoms where Killing DDs is the Top Priority. In Clanbattles Manfred might be rather Powerful.

Alaska is likely the Best Choice right now. I personally Prefer Ägir because I like to Brawl in my Ships. But Alaska has quite a few things Speaking for it. Heavy AP Salvos. Improved Penetration Angles and Radar to name the most Obvious ones. And a Decent Armor Scheme thats hard to Citadel as well as Decent AA as an Extra. Azuma is likely the last Choice. Its a long Range HE Spammer. Which can do alot of Damage but wont have too much Impact in General. It cant really go to the Mid or Close Range like Alaska and Ägir. And thus will often not be able to Really Decide Games and instead is often Forced to just Farm Damage.

Well. You are Free to Spend your Time however you Want. Albeit Progressing Slowly is always a Relative Term. Most of the Time I improve in One of Two Ways. 1. Most common for me is this happening by a Revealation of some kind. For example. After (possibly repeatedly) Potatoing in a certain Action or Situation I notice something leading to a certain Problem. And once this happened I will try to figure out why this goes Badly and attempt to either Counteract or Avoid this specific event. (Of course it can also happen that I notice something that works and try to find out why so I can replicate it) 2. In Rare cases I am Simply Unsatisfied with my Performance to the Point that I get Annoyed. Thus Actively trying to get Advice or find a Guide on it due to my own Testing of Methods not Yielding any Results. Both are usually things I Notice pretty Clearly. (And the First Part is something Yosha Hates like the Pest cause it means I Potato for Several Games till I found a Way of Playing it to my Satisfaction instead of just playing by the established Meta ^^) But thats why I said Novents suggestion is takes Effort and Time not everyone is Ready to expend. Most of the Time we Play for Fun. So we dont Pay Attention to such things. We just Play. And even if things happen we not really follow up on why or how it happened. Hence the Progress is Slow. As most of the times a Mistake wont lead to any Change. If you however. Actively Pursue this. The Story is Different because you will notice things almost every Match you Play. But its Stressful and costs alot of Nerves. After all you end up Playing the Same Ship over and over while looking for ways on how exactly to Play it better. And You stop Enjoying the Game. Because you are constantly Analysing things that you do. Thus constantly being at Attention. This is not rarely the Reason why Unicums stop having Fun in the Game or why some of them are Horrible at Playing Div with non Unicums because they just cannot help but Analyse the Actions of their Divmates and thus either get frustrated as they dont say anything and get Annoyed or keep pointing it out annoying the others and thus start Picking Fights with them over it. Which then in turn results in others avoiding to Play Divs with them as they want to avoid the Stress of Fights/Arguments about something they didnt really care about. -

Because going towards Unicum Levels takes alot of Time and Effort. Something not everyone is Ready to Expend on a Game ;) And in alot of cases it ends up being Work rather than Enjoyment. Testing how it Feels to be a Potato meanwhile takes no Effort ^^ And can be quite Fun Sometimes xD -
The Hell your talking about ???? There is Simply no way to get Cleveland or Cheshire to 1600 DPS in the Fitting Tool. Even if you Pour every Single Upgrade into it. The Fitting Tool will get neither of these Ships anywhere near that Number. Pls do not try and Use me as a Source for something you made up yourself lol.

Wont Work. 1. Lets make Clear some Terminology. On the Active Side we got. Skillset - The Skills and Knowledge of Tactics and Meta you have. Experience - The Amount of Experience you have on the Game and thus the Ability to Realize certain things based on Past Experiences. Training - The Amount of Time and Effort you are Investing into this Game in a Regular Manner. On the Passive Side we got. Inherent Ability - Your Inherent Reflexes and Intelligence which Dictactes on how fast you Understand Correlations between Events. As well as Dictating wether or not you are Physically Capable of actually Deploying Strategies you know. Active Gaming - This is the Question on wether you Play Games in General. Because Games even if its not this Exact Game. Builds up certain Basic Skills from WASD usage to the Fact that most Gamers will know that Angling Increases Armor. 2. Now a Player being Good or Bad depends on all of these above Factors. And the more you have of each of these the Better you will become. While if you lack any of these Factors either entirely or partially you will end up with a Decrease. For example. Even an Active Gamer with a good Inherent Ability wont be able to Compete on High Levels in this Game unless he Learns the right Skillsets, gathers Experience and Trains Daily. And even a Player which has 20k Games will often Struggle after he took 2-3 Months of a Break and will Perform below his previous levels because he Lacks Training. (In the Case of a Returning Player there also comes the Decay of these Factors into it. As the Skillset might no longer be Up to Date and Experiences Fade as well as Training having not been kept up etc. ) Another Example. An Weekend Gamer only Playing maybe 30 Battles a Week. Mostly on Weekends. Will have Trouble Reaching High Levels. Because he just wont be keeping the Training up and thus even if he did this for Years and has Gathered Thousands of Games will not become a Unicum level Player. On the other Hand. Someone Reading Guides to Learn about the Game and being Blessed with the Inherent Ability. Might actually become a Unicum if he Plays 20-30 Games a Day thus Accumulating not just Experience but also getting the Training to Automate alot of Actions and Reactions in the Game in the Right way from the Start due to Reading Guides. 3. Now from the Above you can already see. Your Question basicly Boils down to. "How can it be that Players with massive Experience still remain Bad Players" The Answer is that they Lack one of the other Factors. For example. An Active Player with 20k Games and Playing Hundred Games each Week can still be Bad If they Lack both the Inherent Ability to Learn Correlations and also Refuse to Actively Seek out Guides and Advice. Then they might Simply be Unable to ever Form the Skillset Required to get Further. Because they Simply dont Understand how to Imrpove or maybe dont even Realize they could Improve. This is actually one of the most Common Problems for Players. It is also why Players without a Proper Name and Clantag are vastly more Likely to be Potatoes. As Players inside a Clan will usually Pick up at least a certain Skillset over Time due to others telling them about it. Assuming of course its an actual Clan talking to each other and not just an Anonymus Gathering for Naval Base ^^ Or putting it Simply. This is basicly the Average Potato which just Presses Battle. Drives Forward and Dies. As he Simply never bothers making an Effort to Understand what is happening. Neither by Inherent Intelligence nor by Learning from the Community. For example. An less Active Player. Even tough he Watches Youtube Videos and Read Guides. Might actually have the Experience and Skillset. But because he only Plays maybe 2-3 Hours a Week. He just will not be Capable of Maintaing enough Training to Automate Decisions and Reactions. Thus often Simply not being Capable of Applying the Knowledge and Skills he Knows about. And thus remaining Bad. This is the Playertype which will often actually know a few things and which might actually behave properly in alot of Matches but then do something that in the Eyes of the Observer Just seems Stupid. In alot of cases he will Realize its Stupid afterwards. The reason he did it anyways being that he Panicked due to lack of Training and simply failed to make the right moves as he didnt have the time to leisurely remember what the right Strategy for this Situation was. and then there is also the Group which Simply due to Inherent Ability will never be able to be Truly Good. This can be Impaired People with some sort of Health Problem which therefore Simply do not have the Reflexes, Intelligence or Mental Fortitude to make and Implement Decisions in the Game in the Time Frame Required to Compete with other Players. This can also be Players Impaired by their Lack of Technology for example by having such an Old Computer or such a Bad Internet Connection that they are Constantly Suffering from Lags and Synchronization issues etc. Which Handicaps them Severely against other Players. Or it can be Players which are Simply already a bit Older. Because Yes. Funny enough there is actually quite a few People in this Game which are 50 or 60 and more. And which despite having a Good Head on their Shoulders and knowing exactly what they Should do in a Certain Situation. Will no longer be Capable of actually Implementing this Action in a Competetive Timeframe against other Players :) 4. And Finally this is also why Your Experiement will not Work. You say you want to keep Playing your Main Account. That however also means you will Never actually Decay your Training, Skillset and Experience. As Such you Simply will not be able to Play Badly unless you basicly Throw Games on Purpose. After all. You will Maintain Training and Skillset for your Main Account. Thus you never actually dont know the Right Action to take. Instead you just Handical Yourself by not using Advantages. But thats not a Bad Player. Thats just a Good Player Handicapping himself to not Overwhelm Bad Players :) Therefore you Experiment will not Yield you any noteworthy Results. 5. If you want to do this Experiment for Real. You would need an Actually Bad Player to Play with you on a Daily Basis. If you want. I can Recommend you an Old Clanmate of mine from my previous Clan which will Gladly Teach you just how exactly Bad Players happen. Because he will usually want to Drive Forward and Brawl in his Kremlin and doesnt give a Crab about Victory as well as not really having any Idea how the Game works because even if you Explain it to him he will just do what he thinks is right anyways and will claim right to your Face that something works different or something happened different even if that can literally not have happened with the Game mechanics ^^
