i dont get to see the hull upgrade as a really upgrade, more agility,slightly more hp and a small AA improvement but losing a gun, does it worth it for you guys?.I dont know, i rely a lot on my gun effectiveness, even more than my torps. In adition, next torpedoes despite their increased damage, in my opinon they are worse due to their shorter range. torping at 4,5 or less is suicidal in most cases. Question is: do you even upgrade this ship? The other doubt is about AA. I see beside my light AA i have got theorically 5x 127 mm for AA purpouse. Arent those my main guns?. In reality i guess they were dual purpouse guns, but is this implemented in game?. i can not see any big black puff in my antiair area, only small caliber tracers.

it should start with a 4 guns hull. b hull should have all improvment and in case of C hull, parallel for AA purpouses it should lose 1 gun and increase exponentially AA power. Just my opinion. Im not upgrading it, im liking it in its base status. Ninja torping with IJN DDs its amazing, i enjoyed it a lot in alpha and beta but im liking the US DD playstyle, more rewarding.

Mirando los screenshots, al menos del último concurso, solo hay un participante con una entrada de tier 2, el resto es entre tier 4 y 7 por lo que he podido ver, por ahora parece que nadie le da por abusar de los nuevos, pero vamos, no sería mala norma.

Here we are, so close to release date and so far from a decent balance between US/IJN Cvs. Theorically it sounds perfect, US excel at air superiority and IJN can overcome their defence with high loses to score some hits...Sadly what we had witnessed it is that non Cv players will probably complain (sometimes with a good reason othertimes without it) because strike CVs are able to deliver a lot of damage. Once you nerf the posibility to make such damage, the main purpouse of IJN carriers it is gone..Beside, like a connected chain US should be nerfed accordingly. Currently we have 2 nations and it seems the balance couldnt be found...what will happen when more different nations with their own playstyles and characteristis will be introduced??? Maybe it has come the time when the idea of such different roles (eventhough it sounded great theorically) has to be forgotten and implement a lighter version of it with slighty differences or even a Blue vs blue situation. I dont know, it could be i am being pessimist about this topic and it will get sorted anytime...

Guys you are mixing up things...air superiority belong to US and strike and damage to IJN...Bailing to allied cruisers, destroying enemy Cv before getting hit, cte are tactis, but the idea and basic characteristic are those, those assigned roles. When these doubtds and discussions are around it seems that not even that is clear, i keep saying blue versus blue might be better, more boring but easier to balance, or at least quite similar characteristic between nations

well, you never know so that´s why i was trying to get an oficial statment about that

Will be tree completed once game is launched? if so, would we be able to reset it freely? i know it is a selfish question but i was wondering if i should wait until select more skills or wait until the new ones are implemented

nice comparatoin but i concur that not having in account shell spread a Bb with higher range or DPM could be missleading to a erroneous conclusion of being superior., but i guess it is harder to measure that

4 floodings can be repaired as easy as 1..just pressing R

langley can score same hits due the amount of the torps bombers per quad and the tight sprean than the hosho with 2 squadrons. Now add that his fighters can beat up to 2 IJN fighters squadrons (tested) at the same time....langley>>>>hosho

AA at those levels it is laughable. It barely shoots down planes, you need to get into higher tiers where you can lure and hide your planes under friendly AA screen. And even in that way, if the enemy Cv its smart, he will just menace your bombers with his fighters so you wont be able to attack, meanwhile he can deliver his strikes in any other place of the battlefield.

thats untrue, due to the tighter spread on US cvs is far easier to aim and to deliver a more sucessful topr strike on ships than with IJN torp bombers, dealing same damage per torp its clear that US is more reliable and better in any fieold than its counterpart, the hosho.

Both carriers, IJN and UD one, have the same TB damage....in the next tier they still same torp damage BUT US carriers got deliver more damage with their Dbs. Low tiers cvs HAVE to be balanced, there is not much pint playing IJN cv at low tiers, US cvs can do the same and even better

you score more hits with a single langley TBs quadron than with 2 IJN squads

Well, hosho is worse than langley. IJN fighters are no match, a langley fighter squad can take 2 IJN fighters at the same time. Therefore, if we talk about Tbs it is true that you deploy 2x4 tbs wtih hosho but spread is so wide that the thigh spread and higher number per squad in langley results more effective than hosho 2x4 tbs...And take in account that damage is quite similar in both nationalities so...

Portugal, as any other crown under Spanish Empire, provided men and ships. Main battle ships belong to Portugal and Castilla squad, indeed.
