What about giving Repar Party II consumables to Tier VIII cruisers?
Gatt replied to Gatt's topic in General Discussion
C'mon, not only becouse they are fragile. A Tier IV cruiser fights against Tier VI cruisers without Repair Party II consumables. Same for Tier V and VI cruisers. A bit different from a Tier VIII one, right? -
What about giving Repar Party II consumables to Tier VIII cruisers?
Gatt replied to Gatt's topic in General Discussion
Yes, I can understand your point. Well, if you cannot have that consumable in all Tiers, you have to begin from one. I have thought that Tier VIII would have been a good one, considering the monsters you find from Tier VIII on. Nothing more. Neg rep? Meh .... -
I'm thinking of selling my Tier IV Imperator. The amount of BOTs, zombie, AFKers and retarded playing at those Tiers is unbelievable. V-VIII are, IMO, the best Tiers.
-
Ok, thanks. Anyway, I find difficult to accept that germans designed an heavy cruiser hull not able to withstand hits from destroyers and light cruisers. Did anyone test the Hipper's 80mm vertical armor against 100-150mm shells?
-
I have copied everything to the new 0.5.1.2 res_mod directory and everything is working well, so far.
-
Lucky you! With my Hipper I've never-ever been top dog. Nor with my Mogami. I've always been MM-ed with and against Tier XI-X warships.
-
You are obviously a troll. Had you read the authors mentioned by a lot of posters you would have known that both navies mostly avoided direct clashes between main warships. for different reasons but this is what happened. Matapan and Taranto have not been turning points in the Med war. Sometimes the RM chased the RN navies but gave up becouse of wrong high commands decisions (RM admirals could seldom take decisions at sea), lack of air cover or the incoming night. Sometimes the RN gave up becouse they had a lower number of guns. A lot of things happened. One thing for sure: you have not read anything about it. Not Sadkovich, not Greene, not O'Hara, not Massignani, not Bagnasco or Cernuschi. You are basicly ignorant about the Med naval war. All those authors beg to differ from your opinion. Are they all wrong and you alone, with your Wiki and YT culture, are right? Maybe, maybe.
-
IIRC, every WW2 naval combat book I've read said that multi-layered armors are not as effective as single layer ones. Probably, naval engineers could not always design one layer armors, Is it true?
-
Tier V-VIII are the best for me. And I hope this is a WG precise strategic decision, right or wrong ... I dont know. Otherwise, I'd fire a lot of WoWS managers
-
Well, sarcasm against your ignorance and offensiveness. This is the measure of your ignorance and tunnel vision. Just one. Bye, bye troll.
-
Awwww, I give up. He shoots random numbers. Actually RM, given the lack of radar, lack of fuel, lack of night fighting ability, lack of air cover, not cooperating german ally .... won the Med convoys war. The percentages shown by historynerd are right, are history. Oh well, apologies for being OT too.
-
Actually 80%+ of supplies shipped to Libia reached the destination. Otherwise Rommel would not have ever reached the Egyptian border. Is yours a typo or worst? Which sources are you using?
-
There is another, less known, book by Sadkovich regarding a reassesment of all the major navies (axis and allies) performance. Sure, all books must be read with a grain of salt, Sadkovich' ones too. I cited only english written books, dont know if Bagnasco and Giorgerini have been translated.
-
And were your gross remarks about italian navy on topic? Backed by a YT video? Again, read some good books and you'll learn how and why the mediterranean naval war between the RN and the RM went as it did.
-
Well, actually you did replay in *your* proper manner. To each his own. What you did not do is replaying with facts.
-
OMG, another KM-Luftwaffe armchair general. Do yourself a favour and read some (even small, you can do it) recent book about the mediterranean air and naval war. Sadkovich, Massignani & Green ... you choose. Stop learning history from TV, it burns your brain. Well, at least whats left.

10:45pm (GMT+1) sunday night. Great -
Since version 5.1.1.1. the camo remover dont show the WG original skins without camos (the rusty ones, that is). It show strange white-ish (KM) and green-ish (IJN). Is there a reason?

Try to play with the side of your case opened. And check the temps again.

My 6 cores i7 980X 3.3Ghz (no OC) runs WoWS at 50-55 Celsius. Stock cooler. Your temperatures seem high. On my PC WoWS dont seem CPU intensive, rather GPU intensive (I use a Sapphire 7950).

As of today, the queues for gaming in Tiers IX-X (sometimes even VIII) are often a nightmare. I for one would like to see some more players and fresh meat at high Tiers. So, for me is a yes.
-
What actually I'm seeing in these days are CA playing rambo with BB. 1Vs1 of course. They charge head on and finish them with torps. Does it seems reasonable to you ? And this ^ is even more ridiculous. Lets hope, for BB players, it will not remain this way after the patch.

Upcoming tech trees: England, France, China, Italy ...
Gatt replied to Trigger_Happy_Dad's topic in General Discussion
Just list the players numbers by nation and you'll have the most probable incoming premium ships and trees. Real history? C'mon .... wake up. -
Nope, I dont agree with you .....
