    I had Aslain mod pack installed. I unisntalled it before launching the update but, after it, my port was a mess. I uninstalled the whole game and now I'm re-downlading everything. Well, a fresh start indeed.

    Nice thing of WoWS is that if you fight, and fight hard, you get a lot of XP and credits even when you lose.
  4. When 6 cannons are firing HE shells every 4,5 seconds you can allow yourself some dispersion. Actually, I have hammered New York battleships from 16-17 Km from 100% to 0 HP. Anyway, there will always be a "Murmansk" ship. The only problem is that if it is too good it will happen for a limited period of time. Today is the actual Murmansk, tomorrow she will have another name. WG needs to sell ships. People need to have fun.
  5. Well, with the right Captain skills and a scout plane a Murmansk can hit targets up to +17Km. This is a real problem for Tier V battleships. Probably stats are showing it.

  7. WoWS is not historically accurate. It is an ARCADE game. With the next patch the Tirpitz will have a 109G on her catapult. Not even Donitz would have imagined it in his best dreams.

    This ^ is absolutely correct. Moreover, you cant even stop at Tier VII. Battleships like Nagato and Colorado are horrible to play (if compared to Fuso). Not worth the grind. In other words, you have to stop at Tier VI with the Fuso and the New Mexico to have some fun and decent MM. Or even at Tier V: the Kongo is an excellent battleship and very fun to play. This is what I'll probably do if things wont change. And, IMO, they wont change. Moreover, games at Tier VIII-X are still boring: few players, all looking each other from 25Km. Fear to lose money? Probably. Only Tirpitz players are bringing some fun to these high Tier games, go figure. This is why high Tier Premium ships are, IMO, more than welcome.

    Well, it is plenty of idiot sailing with normal Tier VI--->VIIl ships as well. Plenty. So, again, where is the problem of Premium ships?

    Today, I felt the BBs accuracy buff

    Since the lack of co-op between players many BB drivers are actually learning how to deal with DDs and CAs at close range. They have to becouse CAs and other DDs are often too shy at their job. Yesterday, tired of AP krap overpenetrations, I ended my last games firing HE from my Fuso, NM and Tirpitz. I killed 1 DD and 1 CA in each game. You should have listened to the whining from those torp (and HE) spammers after I destroyed their torp launchers and main turrets and then I killed them. All inside the CAP circle. Very fun.

    Coward simulator 2015 ?

    I dont know why but NC captains are often the most skilled/aggressive. This morning I (in my Tirpitz) teamed with a NC. We got the center of the map, capped one field, defended it, sunk 4 enemy ships. In the very end we fighted against an Atago and a Tier VIII DD. It was a torp and fire nightmare. Everything at very close range. I killed the Atago and sadly the NC got a torp with very few HP left. Anyway, a very good NC captain, a very good player, a very good team mate.

    Take a look much closer than CoD or CS: the attitude in WoT is much less cautious and/or coward-ish.

    This early morning I've been back to WoT for a quick battle after 3 months of WoWS. What a change! Cowards in WoT? Almost no one. Everyone was fighting like hell to get enemy flag. From scouts up to Tier X heavies. Actual WoWS is probably still 1 year behind WoT late beta test. And IMO the average naval sim player is probably much more cautious and maybe "coward" than the air and tank combat sim player. This can make WoWS too much boring. Here: the WoWS CVs player is probably the stereotype of the naval sim player

    I'd not be so sure. I've seen that little circle moving left or right depending on the target speed variations. Actually, the target speed is one of the main info the MOD uses. The first time I tried it, I made something wrong and, instead of the little circle, below the target appeared the infos about speed and distance. Again, WG should implement a new aiming system with something more than the target distance and the shell travelling time. This could be more or less accurate depending on Tier, upgrades, and crew training. What do we have instead? A North Carolina (launched in 1940) using the same manual system of a South Carolina (launched in 1908). Weird I'd say, even for a super arcade game like WoWS.

    I've just been almost burned alive by an Atlanta from behind an island. Thanks god he showed his bow and I smoked him with an 8x volley of my Colorado. Sure, I thought about him using the MOD ....

    Nonsense? MODs are tolerated not allowed. Adding files and making a modded front end very different from a vanilla one in my world means modifing the licensed software. Obviously WG wont do anything against non-cheating MODs. IMO, this one, if not used by all players, is a cheating one. Again, IMO.

    If you are referring to one of my previous posts, I'm sure it was clear that I was talking about the actual WG in game targeting acquisition system. The MOD, even with a sometimes rough interface and not always working, is generally very accurate. Even when the targeted ship is not sailing parallel to you, it can tell you how much lead you need to citadel it. In other words, a skilled player, using his know how with the MOD, can be lethal. A trigger happy green player .... no, he wont be lethal. Moreover, IIRC, the MOD as it is works only with some ships, maybe 5 or 6.

    They should not need an official list of banned MODs to ban players. I'm pretty sure that in the EULA there is clearly written that you cannot modify the licensed software.
