Only recently on such an occasion a wannabe forum celebrity providing tactical advice in almost very thread explained to me that battleships had to stick together. That was on Estuary in domination mode. We lost while he survived almost unharmed.

Playing only a few matches a day (read: the doubles) during any event asking for a certain number of kills I will take advantage of any chance to sink a ship. This includes situations I myself would define as killstealing. I really cannot believe experienced players are denying it exists. Lecturing people about grammar or semantics will neither solve the problem nor end the discussion.

At least they had a reason to advance into a reasonably safe spot while now they either hide to see where they might be needed [/irony] or sail straight into an ambush.

Just switch it to positive Karma only and all problems would be solved.

Nonsense regarding the generalization of high tier destroyers. A gunboat captain certainly needs other skills than a ninja. Nonsense regarding its use limited to high tier destroyers. For instance, my Kamikaze R gets a boost from 11100 to 13100 HP and in my humble opinion profits way more from it than my Shimakaze, i.e. it can eat two torpedoes. Nonsense regarding it being only effective on about 10% of the ships in the game. Technically it's effective on 100% of the ships while probably making sense on japanese destroyers only. Which then again certainly don't pose 10% of thie ships in the game. That said ... the guy I initially reacted to played little more than 50 matches in destroyers.

With at least one pink team mate in each match now I yet have to come across a situation where players get bullied and branded a team killer right from the start and/or without giving new reasons for it ...

Happens to me every now and then. Always assumed it is related to a mod (using some from Aslain's pack). I then usually sail into a safe zone, kill the client via the task manager and restart to rejoin the match.

Knowing WG I wouldn't be surprised if someone accidentally made all those additional diamonds given away as rewards during competitions or by community contributors count. To base ship mastery levels on damage doesn't make any sense when it comes to high tier destroyers.

I would bet on a Fleet Review: Russian Vessels any time. Why would there be one for the Germans with just a cruiser branch while the Russians got two branches?

I think it changed. I witnessed a Nagato pushing a pink Myoko around and the there was a constant flow of pink digits indicating damage. Which in the end will prolong the time the player will stay pink if I understood it correctly.

Sad.
