Rewards for capping only then look ridiculous when a destroyer manages to cap several zones respectively the same one repeatedly. Then again why would you blame the destroyer for securing your victory? Also the destroyer's experience doesn't reduce any other allies' experience based on damage, does it? In fact cap zones can generate infinite {sic!] amounts of experience without harming anybody except pushing you down a rank in the final results table.

Bottom of sea impassable for wrecks may be nice
Benaulim replied to Cpt_Roberto_jr's topic in General Discussion
Nonsense. In WoT because of players exploiting it by deliberately blocking passages (or other tanks) with tank wrecks the wrecks were made pushable and certain maps got reworked. It wasn't like that in the early days and plenty of people complained. -

Won't happen since it would allow you to tactically block narrow passages, i.e. Twin Brother's middle or the one between the two large eastern islands on North for the rest of the match. Game breaker. -
DD excessive survivability? lets review and discuss
Benaulim replied to anonym_gxxGX7KaxQVa's topic in General Discussion
Not much since only the Soviet cruisers T8-10 got it? And even if you run into one of them ... either launch your torpedoes (respectively invisibly shoot) from a safe distance, wait until it has been taken out by others or simply avoid it as long as possible? I seriously doubt radar will have much of an impact on the game the way it'll get implemented in the upcoming patch. -
Regarding the Smoke Boundaries I do object. Watching closely as long as they pop up you can determine the direction in which the destroyer (let's ignore the Kutuzov here) is heading. Well, at least I do. Wether it turns just 90° or even 180°, wether it possibly stopped (or maybe slowly reverses, of course) ... you wouldn't know without the mod. Simple solution: Make the smoke boundaries visible only to the player triggering the smoke.

Observation about "kill stealing" during active missions.

BBs do actually target (low health) DDs in your parallel universe? I envy you ... -
If you try to repeatedly report someone in World of Tanks it simply doesn't accept it and the total number of optional reports remaining stays the same. Here the number is going down and you even receive a message each time thanking you for your active participation (blah blah). That said it obvioulsy does not work like in World of Tanks. At least not the last time I played WoT about two months ago. An automatic report system should be ... well, automatic. By logic this term can only refer to team damage being registered by the system. Consequently you don't even have an option to manually report team damage neither in WoT nor in WoWS. Last but not least we're talking about Karma here since it's the only way the average player can measure reports. Except if he gets (chat)banned, of course. Anyway, no reason to waste more time on this since apparently both of us are rather guessing than knowing. The question wether a single player can report you several times within a single battle and change your score remains unanswered. I wonder wether training rooms allow you to report/compliment. If so that could be a way to find out quickly without the random interfering of team members.

Karma wasn't introduced during CBT. It's part of patch 5.2 and only has been on the public test server for a few days. Speaking of 5.2 I am aware that in the patch notes it says: [if a player is complemented or reported, a system message appears after a battle.] The system message for reports will be displayed only if a player has been reported by at least two players. However I do believe that a single player doing two different reports (or compliments) during a battle can change your score. By the way .. I don't recall any system messages either. My guess really is that the system doesn't work properly. Maybe supertesters could simply play around with it on one of their separated playgrounds. As a side note changing the system to complimenting players only would benefit everyone and disarm the griefers.

After a few incidents I have come to believe that a single player can influence your karma by reporting respectively complimenting you multiple times in a single battle. However ... who cares?

I don't understand why people are denying that there is killstealing in World of Warships. There is. And missions specifically involving the killing of ships do promote it.
-
Actually I am thinking that this will be the reason I am going to quit rather sooner than later. Did already reduce the choice of ships I enjoy playing to stealthy destroyers.
-
As long as mods like these provide an advantage there will be people using them. The best way to balance the chances and save resources else wasted on fighting them is to include key features in the official client.

Your only ship equipped with torpedos and having killed five in a single battle seems to be the Minekaze. Maximum xp she collected: 1788. Edit: Mind you that you need to collect those 1800+ xp in a single battle.

Would recommend to claim all treasures as soon as possible just in case WG messes it up and locks the website when the final milestone is reached.

Less than a ride on the bus, a hamburger or a box of sweets in most European countries. While I don't think that one needs a premium account to enjoy the game this small investment undoubtedly does instantly reward you. Shouldn't happen too often, anyway.

Hydroacoustic Search extends your assured acquisition of enemy ships to a maximum of 3,48 km (2,52 for torpedos) if used with USN. Apparently since your ship is said to be a clone of the Benson the values are the same for you. It does not influence or extend any other values except temporarily changing the proximity spotting.
-
Just 2 Bensons. Not to mention the Mahan on your team. And playing with both, Benson and Fubuki (3x2), I can assure you that while undoubtedly strong and deadly a Benson is as vulnerable when it comes to fires, destroyed turrets, engine or rudder. Simply team up against them and don't try to greedily cap in the first place.

Does anybody know how often the game actually pings? I doubt it happens in real time meaning a destroyer at full speed might easily cover some distance before actually being detected. World of Tanks had a similar problem in its early days until they adjusted it.
-
When does that one day of Premium Account get triggered (and starting to count down) for the individual player: The moment the milestone is reached or the next time you log in?
-
She was. Myoko was t8. They got switched (and adjusted).
-
It often feels as if the development department as well European marketing are trying hard to make as many mistakes as possible. Personally I am neither too interested in the premium shop in general nor a collector of rare ships. However I do care about the number and quality of players. And it hurts to see a game with potential slowly going down the drain.
