About TheSpearman

  1. Imgur.com is a simple and reliable image host. Tinypic.com is also popular, but I've a vague memory of them recycling URLs after a period of time.
  2. After 110 containers I finally got another SC. It's 50 ocean souls cammos. To go with the 400 odd I already have.
  3. This time, instead of a butthurt child moaning, someone had the grace to +1 me, so some faith in humanity is restored.
  4. Sites like Warships Today give more detailed breakdowns. Here's you: https://eu.warships.today/player/539437520/oscarpuz It's, well, it's not pretty.
  5. I hit a new record damge level today of 185k in my own Bismarck, which was nice since I'm fairly light player. And of course some moron starts accusing me of using aimassist mods because no-one could possibly hit a DD at 7km range, and then falsely reports me 5 times in addition. And WG of course would rather punish me if I named him publicly.
  6. If you go the premium store, when you make a purchase, there's an option to buy for your own account or to send it as a gift to someone else's account. It'll then prompt you for the name of the other account to send to.
  7. There's no such thing, the contents of the updates folder depends upon the age of someone's client, whether they clean it manually etc etc. Plus the EU files are the same as the NA, except for a small changes in localization and the attendant config files.
  8. Updated? Did you do an new install or did the launmcher do it itself?
  9. I haven't seen an SC in the last 55 or so TYLs I've opened, and yet I still torture myself by coming back to this thread regularly.
  10. I suspect the second launcher you're referring to is the auto update thingumy that runs all the time now. It doesn't have the full launcher capability, as you've seen.
  11. Okay, so that did replace a number of smaller files, some of which included ships packages as well. I'd suggest trying the Danae now and seeing how that fares.
  12. You don't need the entire log file, just the entries from the time when the integrity check was run.
  13. I don't see any sign of the integrity check running there. There should be lines referring to "switching to integrity state", "Get integrity check list" etc etc.
  14. If you post the wowslauncher.log file contents, we can check what it may have downloaded.
  15. Post the contents of python.log just after a crash. Given that it's specific to a ship, the files containing it may be damaged. An integrity check should sort that.
