You really dont read properly, do you ? Plenty of people here stating that they get murdered by T7 DDs and/or that they easily murder Friesland with their T7 DD ..

Any french DD T7+ wrecks it easily. Russian DDs completely wreck it. Friesland has 0 chance to survive that encounter. Everything Akizuki upwards wrecks it easily. Fletcher+ Wrecks it easily. 1 on 1 against a Shima Friesland barely survives with a 2-3k hp.

That was the reason i got her. She looked weird, she looked kinda awkward, and i enjoy playing ships that are awekward, maybe a bit challngeing and interesting. I still bought her, even thou all the Youtubers said its a crappy ship, that its absolutely sub-par, that it underperforms and that its very hard to carry with it. I was like, cool, a challange, lets go for it. Didnt imagine it being THIS bad tho. Its not just a ship thats hard to play, its a ship that is frustrating to play. You work as long as your team is around to distract the enemy, after that you can just as well sail to the corner of the map and sit there. You cant effectifely fight anything. Since you have no torps basically everything can just easily rush you and kill you as you have no chance to do anything besides run. The problem with this ship is that it feels extremely underwhelming as soon as you are on your own, and in my oppinion a skilled player should be able to hold his ground if hes better then the enemy. In this ship, no matter how skilled you are, if someone decides to come for you, you are dead. Period. Skill is entirely canceled out by the fact that the ship has no chance against any other ship. It gets murdered by Tier7 DDs easily. Everything else just lolrapes it as soon as they ahve the chance. The only thing this ship is good at is sitting in smoke or behind islands, spamming HE and then running away. Sadly, running away doesnt win games.

The main problem is tho, both of your questions have to be answered with a big NO. Shes neither interesting nor fun. Shes frustrating and boring. hence it needs either serious changes or serious buffs.

Yeeeeh no. No matter how much you try to shittalk, im not a bad player, i know how to bote and it wont change the fact that Friesland is an extremely sub-par DD on its tier.

Mine must be broken then. Didnt shoot down a single plane before the first rockets hit, 9k dmg, second run shot down 1 plane, hit for 7k and a permafire that finished me .. I was dead 2 minutes into the game, with 1 plane kill. In all seriousness tho, if i cant reach over 50% win rate in a ship after 50 battles, its proof enough that its junk.

I just got stricken down by a Audacious with rocket planes in two attacks, while running def aa .. I am desperately trying to make this ship work but it has absolutely nothing going for it, its jsut bad. Downtier to 8 or maybe 7 with reduced hydro ranger and we are talking, but like this .. Crap.

Btw if anyone thinks Friesland has awesome AA, no, it doesnt. Second time i get raped to death by a shokaku, and my Friesland is stacked with BFT / AA Mod ..

Dont bother, jsut put in port till it gets fixed. Right now its unplayably bad

Friesland is a very weak ship, so if you dont have a very high frustration tolerance i suggest you keep as far away from it as spossible.

Weirdly with other ships i can confidently reacha 60%+ win rate even on weekends with full potato teams. With this ships its impossible. Its just bad.

Resume after 30 games: This ship is absolte trash. DO NOT BUY ! Struggling hard to have a win rate above 30%. You cannot fight DD, you cannot fight Cruiser, you cannot fight BBs. Every single ship can push you out and just rape you whereever you are. You have nothing to stop an attack at all. Tier 7 DD outgun it. 0 carry potential. Once they start to hunt you, you have no chance. Also, the ship takes damage like crazy. Every hit appears to be full dmg and it catches fire like tinder. HP is crazy low, Tier 7 levels. No idea whats wrong with this, but im amazed it got through testing in this stage. Hands downt he worst T9 DD in the game.

Friesland is a boat that can hide behind islands, spam HE and not be raped by CV. Thats all. You cant confront any ship 1 on 1. A shiratsuyu wins a gunfight 1vs1 against Friesland.

You dont, you stay away from enemy DD. That ship is so fragile, everything murders it.

Oh man what a dissapointingly crappy ship this is ... Sad :( Give it 10k more HP or heal. otherwise its worthless.

This would be so easy to fix. Simply raise the point of aim to deck level. Then you got 50/50 armor belt hits and superstructure hits. More hits on close range that do dmg, and less hits on range that do dmg, would encourage brawling.

Ranked is crazy frustrating ... I litteraly spent over 200 games on Rank 4. Lose one, win one, lose one, and so on, just to come back after holidays and go from R4 to R1 in one go without losing a single game. Getting to R4 was one big win streak with over 75% win rate too ..

Benham in ranked is quite trash btw .. besides torp soup it’s weak gets murdered by everything.

GZ dive bombers right now are a waste of time. Only way to play them is to overfly the enemy ship by about half a boat lengths, activate the bombing run and instantly drop before you go into diving. That way bombs will fall mostly straight down and penetrate citadelles, but at decreased accuracy of course.

They just need to revert the last DB changes and it’s fine.

Tbh it sounds more like you played like shot there. If I see a xD noob not doing what he’s supposed to and throws the team under the bus he also gets abuse by me ..
