Thoughts about "The Meta" in Team Battles?

Well the meta would be quite possible as follows. Do you see other team before fight? Do the team have Teamspeak or not? It is really a must...anything else is not going high. Going with mercs or going total own team...again obvious own 7 player team is better by far. Going with diverse team or going full crazy....an mixed team is likely the best. -
Did not play much ranked. Simply did not got the time to do it while trying to get the arp ships, kamikaze etc. What is happening is there is simply to many competitions going on. With team battles it will be even harder to get time for them all.

5.3 goes live soon and we will start to scout for members to our clan. No specific requirements yet but it will likely come. Feel free to seach before this arrives.

You should try "scalable crossair", that is used widely....even by supertesters. But on a more serious note. Could use some that have a good long clear line with easy numbers to predict where to shoot. Saw one on aslains that have rainbow colours but not sure if it is any use. -
It is badly needed...the game is dead without any clan/team fights. Some issues though is: Nekrodamus said it: imagine making a team, paying 300 dubloons and then you get voted out...does not make any sense. Why pay in dubloons to create teams anyway? Is that to narrow number of teams on purpose? How many chances do you honestly believe that 7 mercernaries have vs a team of 7 players that knows each other...ZERO. It does not even matter if they have same ELO rating. That mercernarie idea is pretty much dead. How is ELO rating calculated...is it biased in favor of battleship players or others?.... Tier 8 with 1 carrier, 2 battleships and then 5 bensons? Is there any idea at all in having tier 7 ships in a tier 7-8 fight...does not make sense. That is only to make more games going since nobody would think that tier 7 ships can beat tier 8 ships.

Tier 1-2-3 is not worth keeping. After patch you will end up vs only good players in those tiers since newbs will play against each other. This means that possible it gets very hard to get into a fight because most players will not fight in those tiers...so you end up alone. Sell them. Have myself bought 1000 gold to get 3 more ports...think it is worth it in the long run. Tier 4 : Isokaze, Arkansas beta(NICE) Tier 5 : New york(possible going to sell it) , gremlin, arp kongo Tier 6: warspite, New mexico, Cleaveland...not sure if i should keep farrigut...it is nice Tier 7: Colorado, perhaps arp myoko if i reach those fires... Tier 8: North Carolina, Benson(both when i get there) Tier 9: Iowa without doubt.

Players hiding stats should not see others stats

Have it installed myself. It is nice to see if you can improve your stats. Besides getting an idea about the outcome of the battle. I do not hide my stats... If I see a player with hidden stats....he is very good. Only the good ones are really interested in hiding their stats, so I tell all on my team to target them first :-) rofl. -
Some questions.... Does it really cost 300 dubloons to create a team...that is fail. And if so is it only for one night? Why should anybody use mercenaries ? Well obvious you would use the ones with insane high elo score. But still facing a team of 7 clan members is gonna be loss time after time. It does not work and never will. Is there some kind of restrictions to number of dds , cruisers and battleships. Why not lower the tier to 6-7, that is the most fair one for all.

Manual secondaries, is it worth it for 5 points?

Concealment at tier 5 as battleship is really not that great. You get spotted anyway well in upper tiers anyway. Secondaries are buffed with 15% accuracy but they do not hit ANY thing at present time. Have a really hard time seeing them being worth it and 5 points.... But maybe others can tell from public test. -
The anti air in ships like cleaveland and Atlanta is massive. around 3 times more when fully upgraded. It has simply just removed any reason to focus on AA in IJN cruisers besides tier 10. German cruisers from tier 8 and up is also very good AA ships. Vulgarny: no the Hindenburg has much better AA than DM. It has a weapon multiplier of 3,7 where DM only got 2,4.

Okay with updated info here is cleaveland vs old cleaveland. Old 5.2 cleaveland 127 mm/38 mk 32 damage = 32 at 5km range Defensive fire = 6* 32 at max range Control click = 1,5X 127mm at max be 32*1,5 = 48* 6 = 288 dps at 5 km Now in 5.3 it is 127 mm/38 mk 32 damage = 32 * 2,5 * (2) at 5km range Defensive fire = 4 x Control click = 1,25 X Tier 4 manual fire control = +100% not sure if this kicks in before defensive fire...but it really is crazy if so. So.... 127 mm/38 mk 32 damage = 32 * 2,5 (increased base damage) * 2 (tier 4 skill) * (1,25) at 5km range The 127 mm would do 80 * 1,25 = 100 * 2 (tier 4 ability) = 200 * 4 = 800 dps at 5 km range not sure but this buff seems wild...and it is really not that hard to control click. Not sure I did the correct multiplying but it is WAY more than before. Good bye planes.

Admiral noodle: The challenge, not problem at the moment is to get those 20k player base go up. This would make WG put more money and effort in the game. It is still in the grey area if it drops or rise and become a stable game that attracts more players. 60 mil. plus players in wot and If just one out 100 will join wows will equal 600 k players...that is insane. WG should and that is obvious to anybody link those two games. The way to do it is to give advantages for clans in WOT if they hold territory in wows when clan mode/maps is comming. I like the game as it is also but think long term, it can not go on as it is. The competitive enviroment is non existing and that will kill the game if it will not be fixed. Whether you like the WOT players or not. Do you want the game to succesful or not.

Only chance in the long run for this game is to implement Clan wars where Clans in World of tanks gets advantages if they also hold some areas in wows. This will attract Clans from wot over in this and give it a reason for the MASSIVE load of players in WOT and Clans to start pushing life into wows.

Get the equipment that gives the Arkansas beta 25 sec reload... When faced with torpplanes just sail towards them when they are clearly going for you. Often they are very inexperienced players and they drop the torps at first sight. It is a very VERY deadly ship. When played correct it rofl stomp the enemy team. If no torp boats then do go a bit closer to other ships...they cant hurt you much...but you really end the fight fast for them. I only fear the nikolai but he will get a big run for his money since I have the faster ROF.

Move along people. It never happend. There is no such thing as a 5000X giveaway of xp. It is a version of Aslains scalable aim marker nothing else. And if it did happend then it is impossible to prove with screenshots and videos so stop the witch hunt. So again. Move along people, nothing to see here. -
lets close this thread aswell. Back in June we discussed this aswell. With that arguement you can close them all. Come on lightbaron . I was talking about aim assist and not any player. But really it is easy to see which ships do benefit most of this aim assist. First it really does not work well on BBs . All fast firing, low arch ships benefits from it. My friend is really having a bad moral. He shows it all the time to me. Just check players in certain ships..and you know which ones use it. But good we got it cleared what the players should take out of this thread. It is not allowed and if you do use it. Plz shut the [edited]up and do not paste replays with you using it.

Hi please read on. Have read the threads about the supertester which may or may not have used aim assist and want to comment my side of it. 1. What is certain is that at the moment nobody is denying that aim assist works. There are no body that speak of the actual matter of the case. The problem of the cheat is what should be done to disable it rather than some witchhunt, which in the end does not make an overall difference anyway. 2. Another point is that we can obvious see that it is VERY hard to prove that a player is cheating with this mod. Simply we can not prove in a certain way that a player is using the mod. This is even worse for a couple of reasons. This proves that the mod is really not going to get people banned or punished in any way. 3. If you do not post some replays of you using this mod or just do not post replays then you are really free to use it. There is no chance of you getting caught using it. Why should anybody be affraid of using it if there is no chance at all to get caught? Morals? My final thoughts here. The mod has worked since the game got in beta stage and still it is around with obvious websites promoting it. The developers is not taking this issue seriously, even the supertesters is not really taking this matter serious. This is a big concern. It is perhaps widespread used. That can not be denied anymore. Why does WG not do something to disable it. Well they can not do it. It is an overlay that is client side, which is almost impossible to detect. They know it, we know it. The forum players know of the mod but how many of the player base not visiting the forums do know about it? Hard to tell but it might be so few that WG will not do anything about it. At the moment the game is losing players day after day. Let us be real , if this trend does not stop this game is going to die due to loss of players. That is perhaps the biggest issue at the moment. The entire aspect of the mod and cheating is certainly not increasing the player base. WG needs to step up and pump life into the game. The new fantasy ships may attract more players but the game does have problems. Why do WG no make an actual replay function that records everything on screen as it is, and can be used as proof of not using the mentioned mod. This would effectively silent a lot of the illegal mod user accusations. Furthermore The replay function should record everything as it is not change it depending on your installed mods.

What it does is lower your own calculations so you can faster aim and shoot. A good player would use it to get that point where to shoot faster then he corrects his aim on his own predictions if longer or shorter lead is going to be added. It does lower the response time from aim to shot in a big way. That is really obvious. How much that advantage is , perhaps marginally but still there. Aldramelech: Closing the topics is not going to hide the issue. it is really feel free to use it at the moment...that is what pretty much all readers have learned from this. Aslong as the WG and supertesters really act and handle it so immature that people from outside is laughing then the issue continue. Try to grow up and handle it in a better way. It will not go over any moment now...trust me. The cat is out of the back so to say. -

I think we need to move on and get away of all this accusations. What can be done to move forward. ColonelPete: It does work.....Have seen other player beside me in school testing it out in training room. No name mentioned. It does work. That aspect, if it works or not is already being confirmed it does.
