Good let us be able to hide stats so we can accuse everybody of aim assist using instead of the obvious people using it. Hiding stats will just lead to more toxic enviroment but WG decides.

Hi The decision of the developers to introduce more content into the game in form of ships and maps is really not what this game needs at the moment. If we look at world of tanks, it was also only a few nations in the beginning. But they got the clan element. Please make a global map ala wot and start giving this game a clan environment that will seriously kick the numbers of players up. Waiting to long and the game dies. MANY are waiting for clan fights etc. You already have a fully working solution in WOT, what is the problem in introducing the same in wows.? The clan element is what a lot of players are waiting for. Can tell my clan is enjoying the game but if there are not any clan element what is the point of playing this onwards?

Maybe make the clan area with tier 6 ships. Then after time increase the tiers. Yes the Bismarck idea sells but to make people stay and play after the buzz over that ship is over needs something long lasting. I would believe that advertising on WOT for wows would be a good idea. How about some sort of advantage to clans that have an wows clan division. If I were WG I would make it so that clans that have an branch of wows can get advantages for their wot clan. That would give them an incentive to play wows. It should of course not be something forcing them to but just giving advantages here and there. -

How about doing something about the planes that keep flying around for 3 mins after CV is dead. That is really bad design. Who should they report to? It is like 3 min where you can not cap the zone if near it. Also it makes attacks on CV extremely dangerous since you will be spotted for long periods of time. Seems like a broken mechanic. -
Tried the mod in traning room in my warspite against 12 pensacolas...which is easy to citadel... Only 4-6 was actually armed but did game me a fight smile. Did 6-7 citadel hits. Furthermore it seems that it does infact hit quite precise.....have not put on the extra precision equipment which you of course would. I did not come to the same conclusion as cherry did. It is infact overpowered, and you do not have to actual shoot at the markings, it can give you accurate intel about speed change course change which you impossible cant get when aiming normal since you need to look at the lead area and not the ship. Now you can focus more precise on lead area and not worry so much about ship. The marking is very helpful to use as an guide to where you must shoot. You can still choose to shoot differently if you want to hit in front or back of the ship. It does not matter if some players like pro players THINK they can play good without . The problem is that every player also the bad ones will hit a lot closer and seldom miss big time. There is only two solutions as it is now. Play destroyer best some that relies on stealth or carrier.....the rest is really in trouble. There is a lot of tweaking going on and it seems that every new patch gets new aim assist upgrade. The website is so easy to find that it really is a big facepalm. Any kid could find it and use it. This is without a doubt something they need to look into. But what should they do. It seems it is an overlay that is REALLY hard to avoid. I can not see how they can avoid this besides closing down sites. I really doubt that you can scan and find it at game start. Btw. It saddens me to see that it is a Danish site ......shame on you.

Hi The new patch 0.5.1 did buff the three us destroyers Farragut, Mahan and Benson with better torpedoes. It increased the range of Farragut to 6,4 km torps. The Mahan and Benson have 9.2 km torps with 55kn. But I suspect they have a reaction time at 9 seconds. The issue with this buff is that it effectively removes one of japan destroyer advantages. The stealth torping is all of a sudden not a special of theirs. I further suspect that they are even better the us torps because reaction time is lower than the japanese torps. Is still looking into this but why would you not choose us destroyers over japanese ones now? The mahan has 2000+ hp , twice as fast turrets, over double firepower, much better AA due to defensive fire ability, 12 torps vs 6 torps, with possible lower reaction time for enemy to avoid. Faster circle radius. The hatsuharu has 6000 more damage per torp, faster rudder speed (0,4 sec) , 1,3 km lower detection range, 5 sec faster reload of torps. Why would anybody choose hatsuharu over mahan!!! now Fubuki vs Benson The only things Fubuki has over Benson is faster reload of torps and 800 meter more range, but reaction time for enemy is likely 12 sec vs 9 on Benson. It has 2,5 sec rudder time vs 4 sec on Benson. 200 meter more camo. Otherwise it has nothing going for it.... Again clearly the Benson wins. In tier 9 the fletscher is better also. Tier 10 is a bit harder to compare but really the new buff of american destroyers has just made the japanese worse.

China...rofl. Around 1300-1400 bc they had some very large ships even bigger than spain and england. But an Chinese emperor decided that china should not go abroad. Stay in there own area and many ships was infact decommisioned. That is how i remember from discovery channel. Might be a bit blurry. I really can not see how a chinese tech tree should have any validation next to german, us and brit steel. Then some guys says scandinavia and holland rofl. The Navy comprised: 12 coastal defence ships; 17 motor torpedo boats; 9 submarines; 14 Minesweepers; 6 minelayers; several fishery control vessels. No idea what you want to add to the game. I could look for ships in Norway or Sweden. Doubt it will be any different. The small countries can simply not afford to get the big ships and including any is really not good for the game. Why should we keep getting these stupid ideas for navies that sadly has absolutely no ships for this game to keep getting suggested.. -
For the same reason that if you allow missiles on planes then suddenly missile cruisers and other hard to balance things emerge. The best way forward is to add more nations with diverse playstyles. So everyone can find what they like. Next thing would be more maps, more ways to fit different equipment on the ships which will give more playstyles.

WOT tried it. Did not work at all. I do not see that there would be much difference in wows. There will be tier issues like tier 6 with cleaveland being op. There are other tiers where some ships in bigger numbers would clearly make problems that is hard to balance. -
I stated out playing battleships but the annoying RNG is really getting on my nerves. A ship that is completely still can still be missed by a full salvo... That is not good game design. I want to miss shots because i failed to calculate the lead on them. I want some consistency with hitting certain areas and getting citadel hits. There are fights where my shots seem to hit the same places as enemy and he do get citadel hits , I do not. It feels like the game is going down to luck than rather skill. That annoys me really much. I begin to feel that the skill level in battleships is more going the right direction which often is 50/50 chance rather than knowlegde or skill. So what could i do. I simply looked on other classes to play. I do not like carriers. Played a few battles in beta...and has not played any since. My record is clean and will never play them. They are silly and lame. Cruisers seem to not work well for me. After tier 6, i got a pensacola. It is the worst ship in the game period. Get hit my battleship is always at least 10.000 damage. If not one shot. It feels completely silly. I feel a bit that cleaveland schematics should be in upper tier cruisers aswell. They are really easy to blow out of the water. This lead me to destroyers. My last hope. Well the japanese branch is actually nice. Funny enough I think that mutsuki is better than minekaza. Is doing good in it. well so it feels. I am looking forward to hatsuharu in tier 7 ( it is fine in contrast to other tier 7 ships.) . Is also tiering up in soviet dds but tier 4 is really a killer grind. Was nice in tier 3 but tier 4 sucks. I have more or less stopped. They seem good in area denial vs other japanese destroyers but the us can do the same. Are in nicholas and perhaps the us is the best high tier destroyer. Simply because it gets better torp range + guns later on plus has good AA with defensive fire skill. At least it can get rid of fighter spotting. I think i am going to play more destroyers plus now and then grem and warspite. Try another class if you really get angry at the game. Maybe that branch is just not meant for you. It is no shame to stop and analyse what you do wrong.

Worse matchmaking when using "Halloween Camo"

The matchmaking is as this http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Battle_Mechanics_(WoWS) You can fine meet tier 8-9 in destroyer at tier 7. Do not see any problems in that. It might be a bigger issue in US or soviet destroyers but not in japanese ones. The camo is so good that if you get spotted you are in trouble even in tier 6-7 fights so not much difference there. The only issue is battleships at tier 7 meeting tier 9s. That is a unfair. It is really hard to do much to a tier 9 battleship with much better guns and armor. I would say even tier 8s are hard to deal with. Okay some times you can get the upper hand but not often. Cruiser is not really much different, tier 8s and tier 9s really wreck them hard. Destroyers...well tier 8 with lots of tirpitz is heaven. They can give very good exp and credits when people sailing too close to islands in them. -
Hi I want to ask if the best destroyer players with very high hit % can respond to this. What torpedo spreads do you use? Do you shoot both on grey area? one on grey and the other in front or back. wide spread on both or narrow on one and wide on other*? Will assume that you have 2 volleys of 3 torpedoes to use. Will list some situations and then please answer how to shoot for best hit chance. 1. Battleship at 6 km range. mid speed 2. destroyer at 4 km range, You are dogfighting each other. high speed. Basically tell something about how do you use the different settings to hit best. There are both wide and narrow spread and of course the use of grey area. Learn us beginners how to get more torpedo hits.

Consider myself and okay bbs player. Among the best in south carolina and in new mex I am at 50 k average damage which is top 10%. But I must say that recently I am starting to play more destroyers simply because the skill roof of battleships seems to be determined by RNG. There are situations where a salvo vs an stopped ship does not hit at all. This seems completely wrong. Why is the RNG so big. Also there are games where I can put massive amounts of AP shots into the side/citadel area of CCs at tier 5-6 tier but no citadel and only poor damage. This is starting to annoy me. Also there are games where you feel really bored. That are the ones where you pick a side to sail to but the game goes like this that the majority of the battles is going on in the other side. You end up with no damage and with no influence on the outcome of the battle. You could go along with the lemming train which often happends but this is also not very satisfying. I do not like cvs. Tried a few battles in beta but has refused to play them. Will rather be great at one kind of ships than bad or medio at several. CCs do not seem to work so well for me. This has lead me to destroyers. I do not have any instances of RNG do mess up a torpedo hit. They do infact massive damage in the mid tiers. 15k is like a big citadel hit for the big ships and flooding is really dangerous. Also the chance of detonation is big. Also It seems that you have faster speed which means that you can intercept battle areas faster, fight for the really important caps. By the way next patch increases their importance by lowering ship points for destroying each other. Another fact is that my mutzuki seems to do more damage than my minekaza...seems odd but perhaps I am better at higher levels in destroyers. In tier 7-9 I guess that amount of bbs is very high. This again just gives the destroyer much more targets to shoot at and get some nice damage. It feels like getting just a few torp hits is giving exp at a MUCH bigger scale than playing bbs and shooting all game. This is just my view and maybe it seems more fun in dds than bbs. I think that I will play more dds. At the moment I feel that a very good dds player can carry better than a good bb player simply because the chance of going the wrong way in bbs can kill your game.

Was spotting planes really used and on those rails to send away? Thought it was a bit of WG invention. In game they could make it possible to "fish up" the scout planes to use them more times. Perhaps a counter until they are gone. -
Was myself in a fight with my colorado. few kms away was an dds from our team infight with an enemy dds. Guess what our dds just runs away...full speed. Now the enemy dds caps and then he attacks me and kills me. Hard to do much in a lone one vs one fight in bbs. I had to stop them and then i died..badly. Reported the little crap but they found it funny. Obvious the team lost. It is getting to a point where you really think that this game is not worth playing anymore. SADLY. In the beginning we were 10-20 players from my clan that played this. It is down to 5 or so. I can not see this game go anywhere soon.

That illegal aiming mod is not the problem at the moment. The problem is that people do not care [edited] about team work. Everybody plays his own game. Why do team work when you get rewarded for not doing it and just farm damage....it makes no sense. Besides it is so easy to make a new aim mod and they will just try to cover it up but can you really see this game going into clan wars like WOT..... Another area nobody talks about is that in higher tiers it gets boring and VERY slow progress. I have only tier 7 but have talked with more of my friends that do have them. WOT is actually nice in higher tiers...here it is really just a boring grind. That is very very slow even for premium accounts.

Seriously did people not watch the videos before commenting. Well that is not new. It works even on turning ships shown from around 4 min in the second video. Have myself talked in here with people about the problem in using a system to know exactly where to aim just a lot less simple. Nobody saw the topic, guess the average joe is really not that fast. The issue here is that a simple excel fil combined with an overlay to your aim marker can do this. All ships pretty much is between an factor of equal to shell flight time to 2,3 * shell flight time at full speed. What can you do about people or clans later on that can make this themselves and use on their own computer. It is impossible to detect. The guy even says he will release this soon...this is really poison for this game. And big time.

New mexico is the one of the worst units in the game...WTF..... I have around 1000 exp on new york old scale and was around 1400 before they changed the numbers. Is around 51 k in avg damage which is really nice. I can not see where it is a bad ship has any evidence of that. When I see a destroyer...dont waste shots on it if there is better targets like cruisers or battleships. If it gets close...that is around 8-10 km. You need to be aware that suddenly he will try an attack run on you. Best thing is to increase distance when you know he is near like the mentioned range. If he is getting close and that is 6-8km. You need to turn around and sail away from him and shoot him with your rear guns loaded with HE. It works quite well. The point about him circling you at 1 km..well that is bad game play. You should not end up in that situation. You need to plan ahead. Get the range upgrade to 17km. That helps a lot. Furthermore remember you need to sail in a cylinder pattern where the top is round. Where you go to your destination, 12-14 km from targets. perhaps 15 depending on numbers and ships. Then you turn slowly with your broadside but still be able to protect it and keep shooting at the enemies. Then sail back at the end. -

I am quite sure there is no changes to rate of fire. Dispersion could have been made worse, but still we can not really do anything but to test and try to see if it is. No matter what it can only be a hunch or something we think. Can not prove anything at all. -

While I do think the New Mexico is the better ship, I believe that my Warspite will go into ranked battles. Increased AA zone + long range secondary zone up to 7-7,25km will be very nice.

VERY hard ship to play. It can be very frustrating and my New Mexico has a much higher avg damage and exp. But was angry at the grand ol lady and punished her her. Played aggresively and she sure did answer. 125 k damage...love those games. She can be absolutely a beast when you get aggresive and mad . One on one, she can really wreck another bb. Hide the side, eat shells from the front. Turn wreck him(he is often turned) go back to front towards him. Close range with hp advantage and good secondaries...GG Then you heal. Next victim. It can really be nasty. By the way tier 5 skill has anybody tried that camo skil. Would imagine 12 km range of detection would be rather good in a bbs.

Why don't people understand a capture = +50% exp?

So if you have made around 300 xp in the game until the time of cap , do you go for cap to get 50% more or do you chase the last ones, shoot and likely getting a lot more exp like 1000 and even as a bonus might have others on team cap for a win. Yes the guy that has had a great round with high xp, of course wants to cap..the others will want to prolong the game to get more xp since low xp * + 50% is still low xp. Genai, even showed comparisons that damage whoring in the long run gives more xp than playing for win. The game should reward win much more and punish defeat harder.
