    Well both WoTs and WoW's are suppose to be set in the same time period. Yet in World of Tanks we have tanks from 70-80ies like Leopard 1, and STB-1 (both are used to this very day in fact), so would it really be outside of the realm of possibility?     Just so you know, I heard from multiple sources that Atlanta's turrets are currently glitched at 0 value of armor, developers are apparently aware and will fix her eventualy

    Hi guys, I've played American DD's and Japanese battleships most of my time on the beta, and only when switching to cruisers I've noticed that I have problems with aiming. While playing American DD"s, it's mostly shanking anyway, its definitely easy to hit targets spot on from close ranges, and with spammy guns its not that hard to figure out the right trajectory at 12km or so. Japanese battleships are ok, since of slow reload time you tend not to waste shots and aim for slowly moving horizontal targets. But when I switched to cruisers, and suddenly became not as maneuverable as destroyers, and not as armoured as battleships, I soon realized that exchanging fire effectively really matters. I mean shooting at horizontally moving target is not rocket science, you fire a tracing shot, if the trajectory is good you just unload the rest of the clip, no problems there whatsoever. But if a target is bobbing and weaving even a little bit, or even worse - moving vertically away from you, and at ranges of lets say 12km, I would say it becomes quite difficult to consistently hit them. What I typically do in those situations, is try to imagine them in a horizontal position and lead in their general direction to any side, as if they were travelling horizontally. I just judge from the eye, "yup that seems about right, fire away", and annoyingly that doesn't work 75% of the time, making it hellishly inconsistent, especially if you are dodging and weaving and travelling away from your target, trying to make it difficult for them to hit you, and they just hit you anyway shot after shot after shot. So give it enough time, and sooner or later it makes you wonder if you are just plain doing it wrong. Would anyone like to share a tip or trick in regards to aiming properly and consistently when your targets are moving awkwardly? Any help appreciated Kind regards, Aaron

    Ah I see, no all 5 volleys were visible on screen at the same time (I passed all 5 of them on my way to the smoke cloud), first 2 came from left in about 10 meter distance between each other, others came slightly from the right, also with about 10 meter distance between each other, it seemed like kagero fired first, then shimikaze, but the distance between me and them wasnt that large, as I reached them in below 20 seconds, so even with the travel time accounted it still doesn't add up to me, something is a miss, or a foot

    Ok so I do this thing where I count people shots and magazines in games, something I picked up while playing world of tanks extensively on a purple level. When I started advancing towards the mystery cloud, all cruisers were already dead, 5 volleys came out while I was moving there, so I checked my TAB and saw that enemy has 2 dds left, kagero and shimakaze (2 + 3 = 5, makes sense!), the only problem is when I got there, Shimakaze launched another one (visible on screenshot), making it a total of 6 volley's in about a minute, which already isn't right. She couldn't have possibly reloaded because it took me about 17 seconds to get there (yes I was counting seconds in my head, preparing for their reload) And the biggest problem is that even before I went to investigate, the cloud was launching torpedoes over and over and over, at the rate the torps were coming out (I must admit I wasn't counting them at first) I thought there was at least 3 DD's there coordinating their attacks... Also why the hell were they stationary? This factor alone is fishy as hell.

    The percentage at which rate it happens is clearly way off, just food for thought, when you are playing higher lvl DD's, lets say the SIMS, and unlock Pyromania skill on your commander, that's just +5% change to set something ablaze, right? But with so many shots going out, especially out of american dd's and cruisers, you can have your enemies on fire 80% of the whole engagement. For the guns to get taken out and not be annoying at the same time, the % for that should be not higher than 0.7%, it would still happen occasionaly and would still be game shattering for your oponent

    Unless wargamming is trying to tell us not to play DD's agressively? o.O In that case fuk it, give me a row boat and an RPG-7, ill take down the whole damn fleet with it, because I wont get it knocked out every single time

    So basically BB's are unplayable because of grouping RNG, CV's are unplayable because they are plain useless, and DD's get paper mache turrets, like, I like wargamming games but, are they honestly trying to get out of their bloody way to make life miserable for everybody equally and make more clients for Gaijin entertainment, what the hell lol The ironic thing is.... I remember getting on WoWs a couple of months back, and having an absolute blast playing pretty much every type of ship

    I do that as well, I've been purple stated in World of Tanks for years, I think that positioning and situational awareness is one of my biggest strengths both in WoT and WoWs. My biggest current problem isn't any of that, some times you just get in a situation where you are 1v1, lets say Cleveland vs Cleveland, and you are forced to fight at lets say 10-12km, and I seem to lose every single exchange of that description, I need to get better at that particular scenario or just to figure out what im doing wrong currently, because each time i get into that position, my shells are just not consistent enough, while oposition seems to be autoaiming, and since that is no longer available, by default it means that im doing something wrong
