Behold, I also have DNA connection. Intresting how it still shows the problem at server end.

This definetly is not some issue on OP's end. Me and couple of my friends are having same problems, also for 3 days now. And only in wows. Ping plotter shows around 20-30% packet loss on last 3 hops to server.

Get yourself to tier 6 and you will start seeing bigger maps. Got to agree AA needs some balls on visual side.
-
This would indeed be good change.
-
Well it's usually too late at that point anyway. Watch the map please.

how will the clan system work, WOT and WoWS, multiple clans per acount ?
ajappat replied to ChillNova's topic in General Discussion
I think best would be to allow over 100 players per clan, maybe 200, but have the chips limited to 100 per game. -
I've had that kind of stuff twice in my games (fallout and BF2), both times my graphics card died in next month

Sci-fi Creatures - Which would you least want to meet on a Ship
ajappat replied to SeaMonsterUK's topic in Off-Topic
Replicators. Soon there wouldn't be a ship to stand on. -
Had some packet loss issues yesterday and so much issues today, that I won't even bother. WoT appeared to run fine...

It would be great if we could just click enemy ships with plane squadron selected and make them follow that ship. Just like they do when clicking friendly ship. This would be usefull to keep enemy spotted (even at cost of planes).
-
Most CV players are useless and not worth any protection. Edit: Me included

Auto turn? What? My ship has never done that. I did disable collision warning from opstions pretty much after first battle. Maybe that did it?
-
So, large majority of wot players are a bit daft and don't maybe play very active role in battle. Atleast from better players point of view. When this same population of players migrates into wows, why would they play differently? Should they even play differently? Should everyone in beta test play unnaturally, "testing things"?

Meanwhile, you can fix this by manually dropping your torpedoes where ever you want. Just Alt + click.
-
Because you can move your commander to any class of ship.

The "I can't deal with torpedo bombers" topic
ajappat replied to AngelofAwe's topic in General Discussion
Only later models. I'm not exactly an expext, but I doubt if any of ships or planes up to tier 6 or 7 have magnetic detonators. That's actually something they could do about torpedoes. They should glance off at bad angles and definetly should not explode when you ram into torpedo side ways. This would make succesfull evading even more succesfull, but full salvo to side would still be devastating. -
Imagine situation that you are in ship that has really slow turrets. Enemies are killed on your side and you start a journey across the map towards rest of the enemies. Sometimes there's no way to predict what direction you have to turn when engaging new enemies. All turrets however want to point at same direction so when travelling forwards, either your rear turrets face on either side or you have to constantly change the direction you look at, to keep them pointing roughly at rear. If rear turrest would point at rear, turning either direction would be possible, with turrets still turning to side at reasonable speed. So what I'm suggesting, is toggle button that moves and locks turrets/guns at their travel position. In other words, the position they are in port and at start of game.

I would much rather have project ships named after what the actual project was, instead of made up name. Imagine if in wot, we had Jaguar instead of E-100 just because they could have named it that, like they did with other heavy tanks It would also keep space between "made up" ships and real ships.

The "I can't deal with torpedo bombers" topic
ajappat replied to AngelofAwe's topic in General Discussion
Topedo planes must have straight aproach run before they can drop the torpedoes. They can't just fly next to you and do instant turn and drop their load. The torpedoes will always come from direction they come at you. Thus, leaving you quite some reaction time. If you start turning early, planes might have to make new approach and meanwhile your AA will hammer them to pieces. Playing my independence, one fuso can easily hammer 3 or 4 planes down if I have to adjust my approach. It's 2 CV per team. I guess MM will do exceptions when there's just few players in queue, but I'm yet to see it. -
You seriously have not seen this. They FREEZE. They might not have orders, but that doesn't mean they should pretend being helicopters.
-
IF it's a feature it's a stupid one. It's not like bomber panic mode. They literally freeze. They move at walking speed, it looks unnatural and it has cost me countless fighters against lower tier fighters. If only there was replays, I could show.

Why are topics not divided in pages on this forum? Even super long topics are just one very long page. Edit: Noticed there's already this: http://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/7270-why-doesnt-this-forum-use-pages/

Did you play kawachi or myogi? It get's a lot easier for BB's later on.
-
I was just about to write about this today. I grinded through langley today and noticed same problem. They just freeze and stop reacting to any commands.
-
Should HE rather be shot at side of enemy ship or in upper structures? I bet they have fancy terms for those parts of ship but meh.
