Quoting this because it could be from my keyboard. I did try the XVM when it still was working and it showed other players who use XVM. Every other game there wasn't any XVM users and when I actually saw them, I never felt like being targeted more by XVM users or anything. It's simply more practical to shoot best target (closest, best angle, someone sitting still, so on).

Only thing I can see as possibly confirmed, is that you don't know how to angle against enemies?

Not very well. They turn, but they don't adjust elevation and they don't have any muzzle flash effects.

I feel it's just better to follow intuition and fire full salvo at time (atleast in BB). Dispersion is so great, that it's sometimes close to impossible to judge my aiming based on just one turret. Most of the time my aim is good enough on first salvo, so it's pointless to confuse myself with "ranging shots". And then there's the benefit of not having to show my side at enemy all the time to keep my guns shooting, I can just show my side on quiet moment to empty my guns. -
Secondary focused line of battleships?

Pretty sure secondaries of japs and US had range of about 20km too. I wouldn't be holding breath for secondary heavy BB lines. -
I had to check replay if it was you who got torped by my friend in atago . We thought our 3 man division was alone in one flank and my friend shot some blind torps in enemy smoke (with closest visible enemies about 14km away). Then he said: "My captain just said don't fire at your allies?" Friend2: "Maybe you shot ajappat with secondaries?" Me: "I didn't notice but I guess so" And then friendly mogami starts swearing about noob atago. None of us three ever saw him .

They changed it? It was pretty much only way to have any chance against better/more numerous enemy fighters. -

Even if you don't hit friendly ships from second line, you radically limit their movement options. I have died so many dies, because I have to slow down or turn towards enemies (when I should be turning away) because of friendly torps. Usually I do everything I can to stay alive, be the threat friend or foe. But yes, I am that player who once didn't evade (possibly your chieftug) friendly torps on purpose, in situation where those torps had doomed me into dieing. Why not give a little snap at the idiot who caused my death? In situation you described, your friendly DD between you and enemy CAN'T slow down to dodge torps. Edit: Contrary to OP, I believe teamkillers should be punished, not the other way around.

You can't see where your smoke is and thus can't know if you are driving out of it. With this you can be sure to stay in it.

Same. Some tirpitz scored over 10k dmg on my destroyer while I had never been spotted yet. I was in cap though (no smoke), so I guess he just got super lucky. Now that's not quite enough for me to call hax, but that same player tried (and nearly succeeded) to shoot me again later in the game, while again, I had been invisible and on the move for atleast 40s or so. Didn't have replays on, but I do now

Worth noting, if you are taking part in Project R and will be getting Kamikaze, you could as well move up the tiers, since Kamikaze basically is Minekaze. -
Well actually, all regular guns are aim assisted. You have to figure the lead, but your shots will always drift towards targeted enemy if you aim too high or low.

Is there something to achieve in, let's say, some small local football clubs weekend games (or what ever team based sports)? How would the other guys feel, if you went there and just kicked grass and didn't even try to play properly?

If enemy ship is visible and it's selected as your current target, your shots will go over the terrain even if you aim straight at mountain face.

How are we to test new skills since there's only 0 level captains?

I've seen some people to make mistake of always aiming at deck level with no zoom and thus missing targets since pixel up or down can mean kilometer in range. But I guess that's not the problem OP is having... -

I think stage 1 and 2 of fly my pretties can be completed with all classes. -
I would almost buy this just to show WG this is way to go, but I just can't be bothered with premium ship that offers no captain train possibilities and requires me to level up new captain at tier 8

I guess it would be worth mentioning, that you can also move upgrades to next ship, but it costs 25 doubloons per upgrade to detach them. Otherwise you have to sell them (for less credits) when you are selling the ship.

Click the doubloon cost for dropdown menu that let's you select credits.

I would be intriqued to see replay where DD takes any significant dmg (like more than 1 hit maybe) past that 5km (stock) range. Upgrading secondaries with upgrades and skills seem utterly pointless because of that.
