Wow, very interesting thanks for answering. I thought it was something everyone else knew and I just wasn't in on it. Kept wondering what the second B in BB stood for, lol. Even went as far as to consider maybe these ppl use jargon from other online games and DD means damage dealer. Anyway, good to know.

Hi, nice thread explaining all this useful stuff. But there's something I wish to know.. what do these actually stand for - BB, DD, CA? I know they're referring to battleships, destroyers and cruisers, but while I can see how Carrier Vessels = CV, I don't know exactly what those others stand for.

Ok, bit of an update - yesterday I had to switch to Win XP to check something out and I figured I might as well try the game also. And go figure, it works... So, the same exact hardware, older operating system, and the game works. That means wows might not like Win7, or maybe it's something with the newer video drivers/newer directx, I don't know... but wg need to keep working on this and not ignore it, cause there are plenty of ppl out there with similar issues.

I seem to have the same problem, and I'm above minimum and recomended requirements. I even turned everything to low or off in graphic options. Nothing works. Is this only happening on ATI? Everything looks fine in port, but as son as I press battle, the problem appears.
