Yes, it will switch from the current "special" status to regular. The main difference will be that the ability to use any captain will be lost, you will have to use captain trained for the ship. On the other hand congrats to getting Richelieu mission :)

so its very easy to get to tier 10 :P richelieu and alsace are awesome ship :)
