yeah really wg   lost count on how many containers i opened and no  french battle mission  to get french bb so i give up as i  viva la france containers i opened  all of part 1  and got nothing

 

You have to complete the Aigle missions, to get the Aigle then do some in random battles to unlock quests for both tier 5 and 6 Battleship. Opens up personal quest series and daily mission quests. Hope that helps, just found out to Part 2 or 3 requires one round in random with tier 8 reward is tier 10s destroyer, cruiser and battleship for clan battles. Says for 14 days, not sure if its for public test and they remain permenant ir are temp for the 14 days. Hope that helps. You can buy French crate bundles toofor under $20 and cash in duplicates for items your missing in collection.

Sadly this is a matter of chance by and large - still, you get other cool things from the boxes and worst case you'll be able to launch into the French BB tree when 0.7.2 cames :)

Yesterday evening I finally finished this French mission. And you know what? I received sooo many duplicate items in total, that even after exchange 1/3 on needed ones, I still have 1 needed item not open! As mission is over and no more containers expected, this means I should accept that all my actions and time spent on that mission was useless as I can`t get final reward. Or I have to pay for containers from Premium shop and it should be at least 3 of them to have needed item open. Very nice money approach, Wargaming, push us to pay even for finishing  routine missions in game!!! Great pay to win way of gaming.

  i know that and u just posted something not related to french bbs (battleships}  was asking bout tat i dont want the french dd  but some things needs to fixed first before adding french  battleships aka bbs 

 

I have finished French campaign and still need one piece to get the special captain. Will there be a possibility to get french containers anytime soon?

And you now what I got from support? They advised that unfortunately I was not so lucky to get all items open!!! and that`s it...

I would point you to perusing the Public Test for the next version and have a look at the possibilities there - the in-game missions are over, but the French arc isn't ;)

Lads, just be prepared that after you pass enough missions in Aigle marathon Wargaming will advise you to buy it from Premium shop as you was not good enough to get ship free. I will not be surprised now...

Tuccy, with all my respect, there was NOTHING on French mission page about to take additional tests, battles, etc after completion all the events. So when now I have to do something more than announced missions is looking like:

a) bad mission management

b) fraud

When both choices are not good looking for Wargaming

Ok, as I can see that Wargaming is not even going to sort it`s own fails (I was not so lucky, lol!), I promise that from now on will be updating warning comments for players on every new collection announcement. People should be prepared for negative results after they do the job.

We have announced French story arc that will span several updates. The 0.7.1 was first of them, and included start of the collection:

If you want to have early alert about subsequent activities, there is the Public Test for you to see what these may be (note that the public test started already last week) - especially the "Gold of France" Campaign. However you do not need to participate - there is no direct payout apart from standard test rewards (then you should wait for the next announcement a bit longer - one of benefits of the Public Test is being able to preview upcoming content and see what comes).

 

Of course if you want to skip that or boost your chance of getting the high tier battleship blueprints (and getting more camos etc.), there is the Premium shop option. 

 

I would also like to stress that having a cut off dates in missions (esp. in missions to earn Premium things for free) is pretty standard. So yes, if you cannot complete the missions to get the ship for free, your other option is the premium shop.

I need only 4 items for french collections.

Today finish last mission and got 7 containers.And what surprise?!? I got 5 duplicates and 2 items.

So I need only 2 items more.I make from duplicates 1 more item.And had 2 duplicates left.Need 1 item to finish mission or 1 duplicate.But mission tasks are over, I cant get more containers.Only in shop.And I must buy 1 container to complete french commander mission...I bought of course 1 container cause wanted that french commander.But I feel very sad.I don't worry I spend 2.7 Euro.Wargaming befool me.I feel sad cause I feel to be forced to buy containers from Wargaming shop to finish mission.

I dont start next mission.I dont want to feel sad and frustrated at the end of mission when not enough items and I am forced to buy containers with items.

 

 

What happen tomy T5 french BB after release of patch 0.7.2?? Does it remain in my port and i can start at T5 on this line? Or will it disappear after update and i have to start at T1?

It will remain in your port, from the Patch Notes:

 

After the release of Update 0.7.2, French battleships that were given for completing personal combat missions will be replaced with the same researchable ships, their XP, upgrades, signals, camouflages and statistics will be transferred to respective ships. No items that were earned by the player will be lost.
