I have a theory....

After a few evenings where I've been switching between 2 ships, it seems one always gave me a win, and the other always a loss...

The theory goes that the MM somehow looks at the ship you select, and over a given amount of time, when selecting that ship, it'll produce a loss. Or it'll produce a win.

Try changing ship when you have a loss, and stay away from it for a while. Usually after a few hours when you come back, you'll be able to pull of a string of wins.

It's an odd theory, and under testing.

Edit: Oh, and the Scharnhorst is a bad BB  Gneisenau is way better

yea you are right man, i managed to double the first match on this day in my Gneisenau, the series of losses came after that. And the consecutive string of losses in the Scharnhorst kinda proves your theory with switching ships.

Which is worse then the regular weekend BBaboons?

"First they nerfed the carriers and I didn't speak out because I didn't play carriers.                                    Then they nerfed the torpedoes and I didn't speak out because I didn't play IJN DDs.

Then they nerfed cruiser HE and I didn't speak out because I didn't spam HE.                                             Then they nerved concealment on every class except BB's, and I didn't speak out because I didn't have common sense

Then the BBabies came for me, and there was no one left to speak out for me."

This really helps... please believe me... "pushing the bad luck" never pays off... :)

What I do nowadays is this:

  • when I lose a battle I always change a ship
  • I stop playing one ship for that day if I am -2 games with her altogether (i.e. 2 more loses than wins)
  • I stop playing "Ranked" / "Random" for that day entirely if I am -4 games with all my ships combined (i.e. 4 more loses than wins)
