Just unique skins for Hood and Bismarck.

NOT THE SHIPS themselves.

Thanks mate (so I'll pass on that campaign)

Monopolies are bad because people get bad service for high prices.  Competition is good because people get good service for competitive prices.

If they wanted the new camo to look realistic then it should have a 16" hole in the front and back of Bruno(B) turret where one of Rodney's 16" shells went right through and out the other side!

Seeing the chorus of praise on this thread for the Bismarck camo has made me feel more detached from mainstream "taste" than ever.

To me the beat up look is absolutely, 100%, definitively hideous.:(

Sometimes I feel like I must belong to a different species.

You are not alone. I wonder why the turrets are yellow?

Sub_Octavian in September ´16: BB population increase is the real problem now. They are balancing on the edge of allowed combat effeciency and their numbers are growing. And they live too long. So we need to find the way to tweak them.

Well that Bismarc camo is absolutely awesome... but that is only my opinion, also the RNG way of getting it is bad and WG should feel bad.

There are sources that indicate that the crew painted the turrets yellow the last days. However, I read that an author actually went to three survivors, including von Müllenheim-Rechberg, the senior surviving officer, and they all responded that Bismarck did not have yellow turrets at the end.

I'm pretty sure someone posted the source somewhere around here, but I can't remember where now, so I can't back it up.

Possibly reference to this

Monday, 26.5. 41:

Monday morning we received orders to paint the top of the turret yellow. The breakers washed off the paint in a short time, and an attempt for a second coat was abandoned. The paint adhered only to the main turrets.

Details about the Hood-campaign (chinese leak)

7 stages containing 9 sub-missions (so 63 mission in total), not all missions need completion to progress through the stages. Players with premium time can progress faster (by doing 3 missions at the same time instead of 2). Stage 5 & 6 unlock special camouflages for HMS Hood, which will yield combat-bonusses. There are 24 "collectibles" to be earned in the campaign, earning them all will give you a medal, as well as a premium camouflage for Bismarck. However, you can't choose the collectibles. By completing a mission, you get 2 special containers, each container will drop one of the 24 collectibles (historic shields). A player must earn the 24 different shields, but has no hand in picking the shields, it's down to RNG to decide if the player gets his Bismarck camo or not. The historic shields are all tied to the Battle of the Denmark Strait / Sinking of Bismarck (for example: shields for Bismarck, Hood, Dorset, Zulu, Cossack, RAF 209 squadron, 825 Naval Air Squadron,...) The things in the coloured tables are the missions and stages. Battle of Bismarck's opening and closing time National costume: 2017-5-23 00:00:01-2017-6-13 00:00:00 Asian clothing: 2017-5-18 00:00:01-2017-6-8 00:00:00 NA: 2017-5-17 12:00:01-2017-6-7 12:00:00 EU: 2017-5-18 07:00:01-2017-6-8 07:00:00 Russian clothing: 2017-5-17 05:00:01-2017-6-7 05:00:00

that's a bit of a flawed plan isn't it?

if I put in all that hard work and in the end because I'd completed every mission and was still missing some of the badges so i didnt get the bismark skin I'd be mega pi$$ed. relying on RNG for skin distribution is never a good idea

The Way of the Cruiser (Junyokando) is a form of Bushido. You learn the hard way. You pay for your mistakes. You try harder after a blunder. And you fight in the open, with deadly weapons and little armor. You accept your fate: being killed is an honor, being fired upon by scores of enemies is a tribute to your valor. You are neither one of those little ninja DDs, always relying on stealth and surprise to get kills, nor those fat, lazy Yakuza wannabes always giving orders to others (scout here, spot there, cap, give me cover, OMG noob team...) while crying like little babies if they get a scratch. You are a Junyokan: get closer, kill, be proud to get a chance to die. And if you do, don't cry like a BBaby.

They'll probably sell the badges in the store. For €1 each or something. That way some people will pay €24 for the camo, some will get it free, and lots will spend €1-4 to get the last few they need

Why sell badges when you can sell CONTAINERS! We all love RNG after all

...

I can't even imagine the crapstorm selling containers with badges would cause...but it sure as hell will be glorious.

Excuse me, have to sharpen my pitchforks...again.

So no winnable Hood?

No winnable Hood makes Zoid sad.
